There is NOT a ban on gas stoves. You can buy a gas stove if you want one. Its called choice. There are gas stoves and electric stoves on the market.
There's been talk about phasing them out in new construction, so it's not totally false, but no one is coming for your gas atove.

I paid $5.50 a gallon yesterday, but the last time i got some it was almost 6 dollars, ive seen it like that in California for the last 3 years, up and down, but not down very much before it goes back up.
