Thanks. Great tutorial, noticed the guide pins are different, does it matter where they go? I saw on another forum saying the round one goes on the top and the one with 3 lengthy flats on the bottom. It looks like you had it reversed.
Thanks Backyard Chevy for the video. Regarding the anti rattle clip in the middle, if I want to reuse it, do I need to make any adjustments to it? Thanks in advance.
This is a reach out to anybody... I have a 1994 GMC extended cab stepside V6... The motor has a lower end knock... It needs a little TLC but no dents straight body.. unfortunately I don't have the means to get a new motor or even a rebuilt... And I can't bear the thought of sending her to a junkyard where she will be cannibalized... If anyone would be interested I would rather see her go to a good home..
This video was very well done. No shaky cell phone video. Very clear and very helpful. Thanks, well done.
EXCELLENT! Nice quiet and well explained video! Outstanding.
Thanks! Extremely helpful. Very well done.
If you don't have the fancy piston retractor tool set, a large C clamp works too.
Yes, a large c-clamp but also using one of the old brake pads to push against the cylinder
It's been a long time since I have done my own mechanic work and you made it such a breeze ! Tyty so much.
Thank you sir!
Your video is very precise, save me some few $$$ there.
I manage to replace my brakes with no issues.
