- Here's the full dance of Lilliana Ketchman's contemporary/open solo "Power Line" at the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) Semi-Finals in Salt Lake City, Utah on Friday, January 11th, 2019. She received the "Hope Award" for this solo.
She represented Campaneria Ballet School.
Choreographed by: Zoï Tatopoulos
Lilly’s control is insane. I love seeing the improvement from her 🤍🤍
this choreo is so interesting, it makes this solo very refreshing to watch
you guys are complaining that it's a contortionist routine but all i see is how precise and hard she hit everything. the entire routine was clean and way better than most 6-8 year olds
she was 10
@@eloatrindadesl685 better than most 10 years olds then.
That's true. She was good but I dont think a lot of tricks are necessary in a contemporary routine. 3 or 4 is fine but not 10
@@keishatanoe1067 you’re just painfully jealous
@@bbgxo7967 no, it’s just that tricks are fill in. Also, how are you sure that that person cant do any tricks?
YES YES YES finally we see her with some flattering choreo that will show her off without being to childish or just being acro. GO LILLY
Here are some of Lilliana's mature solos on Dance Moms that you might like to see:
• Black window. (Age 10, 1st place, season 8.)
• Shine bright (Age 10, 2nd place I think, season 8)
• Straight Escape (Age 10-11, 1st place perfect score of 300, season 8.)
• Mommy's Dearest (Age 10, 2nd-3rd place I think, season 8.)
• Blue Moon (Age 9, Idk what place, Season 7.)
Here's her acro solos you might like to see!:
• Dainty but Dangerous (Age 8, season 7, 1st place.)
• Route 66 (Age 7, 2nd-3rd place, season 6.)
• Inside Out (Age 10, Season 8.)
• Wishing Well (Age 8, Idk what place, Season 7)
• Ice scream for ice cream (Age 7-8, Idk what place, Season 7)
Lyrical solos:
• Step by step (Age 7, 1st place, Season 6)
• Dear Lilly Love Daddy (Age 8, Season 7, 1st place,).
• Shine bright ( Age 10, season 8, Idk what place.)
Duets:

• My Big Brother (Lilly and Brady idk I forgot his name, Age 10 and 14, Season 8, Idk what place.)
@@sunshinealdc4676 i have seen them all, i am just not personally a fan of abby or gianna’s choreography and i think lilly is much more suited to this style of contemp.
GO LILLY!
This solo looks like Aldc coreo , I hope to see her do something more mature and more well choreographed. She should do something by Travis Wall like Brady did!
i loveeed seeing her do this choreo. i feel like her movement quality has improved a lot too
Her musicality in this solo is stunning! She did such a good job! ❤️
Definitely an abstract CHOREOGRAPHY ⭐
Lilly did it amazing 👌🏻❤️What a
body control!!!
that was the coolest! I preferred the first part to when she starts flipping around, but the whole thing was amazing! Cool how every little twitch and movement was intentional.
THOSE TURNS OMG THATS BEAUTIFUL-
THE WAY DANCE MOMS SOLOS DIDN'T DO HER JUSTICE
I'd love to see her do more truly contemporary choreography. This is still so repetitive and the moves don't really link together.
Yes!! I love lili but she needs to work on her turns, control and overall dancing if she wants to improve as a dancer(and become a professional dancer). She is a great contortionist but she won’t be able to just do contortion as she gets older and competitions will be more strict or as a professional dancer, she lacks control and maturity in her dancing, but she definitely got great potential
@@irisesberry6188 Well Lilly is much better now! Remember this is was 2-3 years ago when she was only 10, she's now 12 and much better!
@@irisesberry6188 she could do something in the circus
@@joanneellie9599 yes she could definitely be a professional contortionist or something like that
@@irisesberry6188 yh I agree. She’s an amazing dancer but that’s mainly because of her contortion. The whole dance was one contortion position to another. Maybe if it was choreographed better and not just contortion plus her dance teachers worked on control a bit more she has could be a professional dancer. You can tell her strengths are contortion and tumbling because that’s all she does. Also we need to remember this is a couples of years ago now she’s better now.
Her musicality has improved so much😍
i thought the thumbnail was chloe performing "the raven" again lol
Those were exactly my thoughts when I first saw pictures of this solo!
@@LoomerE chloe and lilly were so similar, i feel like abby raised her to be the next chloe and elliana to be the next maddie
@@leeisiah5926 i suppose it was that way in season 8 actually
Just a GREAT dancer. I loved the performance. Such a sweetheart. LOVE HER.
Her releve is higher than my grades😂
😂
Anything is higher than my grades tbh
@@itsjustji1948 omg same
Can relate
This song reminds me of the game Among Us for some reason😂
“Lilliana was not the impostor”
@@Kait16xo 💀💀
@@efgvwx thank you, thank you. I’m here all week.
The impostors were cathy and abby 😳
Everyone: i dont get the story behind the dance
Me: how big is that stage 👁👄👁
hahahaha
Ther is a screen behind it that makes it look bigger
The YAGP stage in Chicago is small af
Thank you SO much for posting this. I’ve been dying to see this solo for a long time, but was never posted anywhere!!
I’m so glad you bought this because good lord was she not given good choreography on DM
Also what all do you guys have left in terms of uploading dances?
That's all ALDC MUSIC and I have uploaded. Big Shot still has to upload a lot of dances from 2012 and a few from 2011. I recently purchased DEA Las Vegas Nationals 2011 dances, so it should take a few weeks to arrive. Look out for that :)
@@LoomerE ooh fun!
Yes she is
Nobody was
This is one of the best numbers I ever saw her do
Her isolations are amazing!! 😀
Looks more like a contortion number than a dance routine to me...
it's almost like it's an acro routine or something...
@@abbymcbournie4320 that would be fine under normal circumstances but YAGP is a strictly ballet competition with a contemporary section you can literally only compete with a classical variation or contemporary variation in this competition.
Her transitions are gorgeous
I just see individual movements (Done brilliantly) but she doesn’t transition well her musicality is lacking
Idk. I saw a fluidity, clean lines, control, and musicality. This is actually what a lot of contemporary dance companies look like now.
Beautiful technique ❤️
Perfect as always Lily..... 100 pc
I wanna see her at the dance awards with a pretty contemporary dance
Tysm for this💜💜💜 I've been waiting so long!!!!
She’s incredible!!
Truly amazing Lilly! 👏
I think she is an amazing dancer, but as some constructive criticism I think she could work on the transitions and fluidity from one move to the next. But overall she is a very talented dancer.
is there any old brooke solos most people have not seen on recording
Unfortunately, no :(
As a dancer, I feel as if Lilly is good but has loads to work on. I find her very bouncy to watch and her leaps often land wonkily. Her timing and musicality need so much work. Her facials can seem really cringe. I think her mommy dearest facials were amazing. But her straight escape ones were just way over the top. I think that she should have facials more like they were in this though. She needs to work on maturity. However this was definitely the best I've ever seen her dance and she was incredible
Her straight escape facials fit fine for dance facials. While she can be bouncy I believe she is one of the best to ever actually be on dance moms, her facials are not cringe but do need work for ballet
I totally agree, I danced a lot when I was 5 and under and had to stop but I was a lot like her on my jumps due to having bad ankles from tumbling. I feel like Lilly needs to work on that a lot other then that I think she is amazing definitely for a young age. When she was 6,7,and 8 on the show she was amazing and way ahead of the other girls and I feel right now she is right where Maddie and Chloe were at her age, yes she needs to work on lots of things but she is really talented and is better then most of the original girls on my opinion
Yea. I've seen her ballet variation and it's the same thing. She has flexibility for days, but when it comes to turns she doesn't really have that core. And that's with a majority of dancer who are naturally flexible. They have these amazing extensions, but they tend to fall out in turns and some balances. And then it's the opposite for those who work and stretch for flexibility. they gain these core muscles that will help once they reach their maximum flexibility. (also, i wished she would have switched up her développés. it got kinda boring after her third one using the same leg imo.)
@@liv_wardy25 the most likely reason lilli is very bouncy is because she is so flexible and she gets really high on her jumps so she comes down awkwardly because she is so short for how high she jumps
@@hollyokeeffe346 agreed
I absolutely hate it when they keep going for almost ten seconds after the music stops. Just why?
I only like it when it really adds to the storyline. Then it can be powerful.
* casually deletes spine *
geeeez... how much money and training went into producing this much talent?! Craziness.
where is the dance?????
The only thing that I don’t like about his solo is that it gets really repetitive at about a little before halfway
I’m not that great at dancing but I think I’m going to try to learn this solo. I’m pretty flexible and I’m a gymnast but idk if I can do it. I think the hardest parts will be the contortion handstand (I’m not great at balancing) and the beginning headstand thing. Wish me luck!
Good luck!
Lilli was such a great dancer!
¡ Lilly K., fue, es, y será, la más Grande entre las Grandes...Ciertamente !. (Argentina).
Excellent dance and excellent dancer Lilly ketchman
I go to campaneria ballet school :)
Fantastic Lily ♥️🧡💛💚💙
Who choreographed this ? This was made specifically for her and it’s beautiful
Zoï Tatopoulos choreographed this solo :)
She's such a lovely dancer, but I feel a bit weird about the costume. I mean... she's 10 here :S I think a sleek leotard or unitard would have looked amazing too
This is not dance... This is contortion and acrobatics.
damn... i need to show this to my goth dance teacher
What a power house !!!!! Recs : find someone to gently help you with your transitions of your power house moves... And would like to see an outfit thats more appropriate for this type of competition ...where is the protocol ? Sounds old fashion but I'm routing for you and your dancing ...want your style of dance to the show piece that's all .
This is soooo cool
Me: * watching this in the middle of the night *
The sound: * making me scared * 😆
i liked the dance but the whole time is was just the same two moves over and over. She would do a high leg and thne bend back into a weird lunge
she remindes me or briar nolet
Yeah and they have the same strengths in dancing except for that lilli needs to work on her control when turning but that comes with age
perfect !!!!
Can you upload the full song for this dance if you can find it?
Unfortunately, I'm not going to upload music through RUclips when I'm uploading dances, but the song is called "Amber Road (The Haxan Cloak Remix)" by Cloud Boat.
@@LoomerE ok, thank you so much!!
part spider, part scorpion... all talent
Phhhttt I could do this in my sleep. And in sleep I mean dreams. And by dreams I mean there’s no way I would actually ever be able to do this
Hey! So I noticed that Brian Cain (The artist of the song for Diary of Anne Frank) also has a song called Snowfall that was released in 1996. So you think that could be the song for Brookes unaired S2E9 solo?
I don't think it was used for Brooke's solo. That song is not on Extreme Music, unfortunately :(
What place she received?
She earned the "Hope Award" with this solo, which means, according to YAGP, "is given for the best overall performance in the Pre-Competitive Age division. These awards are given to the dancers who, by the consensus of the YAGP jury panel, have exceeded all other dancers in their age division in both the Classical Ballet and Contemporary/Open Dance categories."
I would love to see Lilly do a lyrical piece vs just the Same tumbling/contortion I think if she worked on turns she would fabulous at lyrical this dance isn’t dance just some moves thrown together-just my opinion not hating on anyone
why do we not see any boys with such abilities?
this gave me spider vibes
Hi lommerE! I'm just wondering whether she placed or not
She received the Hope Award, which is "given for the best overall performance in the Pre-Competitive Age division," according to YAGP.
@@LoomerE ahh tysm!
Lili você é muito talentosa
👍 Most of us old geizers didn’t even realize that Lilliana was still dancing; we only see her as that cute little kid who produces witty, fun WIFI videos for our grandkids. . 🤗🎯
I feel like she is trying to dance like Savannah from dance moms but hasn’t got the same musicality
I'm also in a dance company It's called dance with Morgan Vallery I do a bunch of video chats since we have to practice social distancing cause of covid 19 so I do it over zoom
sounds like among us!
how does she spend all her time at ALDC and still go to a professional ballet school?
She trains at Campaneria Ballet School. I believe she trained there after season 7 ended. She performed this solo before the filming of season 8 started.
That was creepy. ...well done.
Put the solo "Black Widow" that Lilly made in the UBC competition please !!!
Unfortunately, I don't think UBC filmed their videos for other people to purchase :(
Where did this place

Nice! 😀❤️🦶😀
POV: you forget to bring your costume
If you can do acro and contortions this well , obviously they’d be utilized in competition. People who hate on this style of dance done this well are only jealous they can’t do the same moves . Do people not understand the strength, control and technique it takes to pull off a dance like this ?????? 🤯☹️
It just seems like a series of tricks rather than a dance.
Normally contemporary dances at YAGP are just poses and legs (at least what I have experienced)
Wow wanderful harikaaaa
1:29 lol what is that move
Amazing Dance! but wheres ur watermark someone wight stole it
*steal lol
might*
oMg-
This is more for entertainment purposes. I don't really mind for credits (even though I purchased it for an expensive amount), as it's just intended for people who just want to see more competitive dancing than what the ALDC shows on the show. If it was an ALDC dance of any kind of dancer there, there would be a watermark in the video as I know that it's more likely to be stolen due to the popularity of the show, the dancers, and the studio itself.
🌹
I would like to see her in a very technical and lyrical ballet solo on pointe. This This acro solo for me (as a dancer & teacher) was boring.
Ewwwww it’s so creepy! That’s amazing how she can be that freaky looking even without a bloody costume, she’s a great actress!
Isn’t she 12!?!?
(GASP) she’s 10!
😮

She is hilarious but this seems very strange lol
oof lilly that turn was not so impressive
Are..are those cave sounds???
that's when she wasn’t a brat
abbys dances got way darker
Abby didn’t choreograph this
All this is is contortion
I was never a big fan of her as a dancer. She would make an amazing contortionist though
