You should consider buying new pencils because those you use are low quallity and if you had something like prismacolor which are 20 dollars for 48 if i remember your art would be alot better and cleaner. Also saying what colors are your pencils is stupid without name of the brand tbh :s

he can use what he wants, it doesn't matter what materials you use, from an artist who has been drawing for 12 years i understand, what if he doesn't have the time or money to go pull 20 dollars out of his wallet to get some pencils , yeah its nice to have them but if he can't do it, then he doesn't have to do it. he did amazing with the color pencils and the drawing looks very awesome with the stuff he used, a true artist will use anything, it doesn't matter the quality of brand, what matters is his skill. and he has a lot of it.

If you don't have to explain why they do matter then it must not be a very good reason then.
