- Ingredient:
2 tsp instant espresso coffee (Can substitute with 2 tbsp if using regular instant coffee)
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp hot water
2 oz milk
Direction:
Step 1
Mix 2 tsp instant espresso coffee, 2 tbsp sugar, 2 tbsp hot water until thickens.
Step 2
Add Ice, 4 oz of milk and pour over coffee

Add cold water to get the flavors out of the instant espresso powder. Hot water actually affects the taste a lot.

My uncle is from Africa. He drinks hot tea and hot coffee all year round. He says that the theory is the body is warm then, doesn't have to work harder to warm up as ur chugging down icy drinks.

Have you tried the root beer stevia liquid drops ? It’s pretty amazing in butter coffee or any coffee actually . The root beer flavor takes the harsh edge edge off the stevia . There’s a cola flavor too

I haven't tried with double mocha coffee. It mainly works with instant coffee. You can use equal parts of concentrated coffee + sugar + water and you can still get the 2 different layers when you pour, but it won't be as thick & creamy as using instant coffee. Hope this helps.

What powder do you recommend?
If you have a favorite coffee brand, go with the same brand, but any powder will be fine as long as it's "instant" espresso or coffee 😀
what else can i use if i don’t have stuff like mixers or whisks or something or blenders
Hi! You can use a spoon or fork. Whatever feels comfortable for you or use a combination of both. It does take about 25-30 mins, but this was how I made my first Dalgona coffee without investing any kitchen tools. Hope this helps !

I tried and it tasted wonderful except the coffee still had granules..not sure why? I eventually had to put it in a blender.
The instant coffee I use dissolves really well...but it could be the hand held frother I'm using to help break it up. I'm glad you are still able to find a way to make it a great drink. Thanks for watching and I hope you have a wonderful day 😀
@PhongFoodieAdventure we did this today but with decaf coffee (because if we didn't it would be 6 ceups worth, but since we used decaf it's fine)

I try to do it too but mine is foamy just for a few seconds and then it turns in big bubbles 😢
Hmmm...are using "instant" coffee/espresso.I used regularly coffee before and it didn't work. It foamed and becomes liquid again. I hope you get to try it again and also be patient on frothing. It'll eventually thicken up.

@AdrianaCodrean blending fast is good. I've done it by hand before and it takes a a good 5 Minute. I hope you get to try it again once day. It's very satisfying once you get it right.
