I tried Little More Oomph with the Spin Up mod based on the recommendation you had in your older Lead Storm video, and I haven't looked back. Solid advice as always.
One good tip with the minigun I heard was that if you're planning on overheating, extra heat generation isn't a downside. Planning and exploiting maxing out the heat meter means you can play more flexibly than living in fear of it.
One more thing worth mentioning with Bullet Hell is that it's also nice for cramped maps, like high complexity Azure Weald or Hollow Bough or somesuch. Often bugs will skitter out of your line of sight and with Bullet Hell you can chase nicely around corners by intentionally shooting walls near where you know bugs are that you can't see.
I think the strongest general purpose build is the lead storm with the Clean OC of 0"A Little More Oomph" built as 1, 2, 1 or 3, 1, 3. You deal 13 damage +15% at max fire rate, with a start a slightly improved start up rate. Basically deals 14 damage and is 100% better than Exhaust Vector. Use it with any secondary, but i prefer the Mole Coilgun.
Exhaust vector does have a nice niche. If someone isn't using the +15% on the LSLS setup, they're better off just using Exhaust vector. Same damage but you don't lose your stun/ movement.
Odd to call the miniguns heating system a downside when it's a major source of its strength. It means you don't have to reload the gun ever, so no need for born ready. Managed properly, it provides a lot of extra firepower and 0 downtime.
Burning hell is cripplied by lack of range, so I think hot bullets are actually more effective in this case, as long as youre using the bulldog with incendiary rounds.
It depends on playstyle, you want to actively get close with burning hell to make the most of it. If you do its far superior, if you dont Itll get outperformed. For me its the Goat, fav build in the game of all classes and makes Haz 4-5+ a breeze
hey ron, what about a series where you play with subscribers builds? if you think thats a good idea i have a engi build i want you to review, its my usual go to build
@@ReapeeRon okay, so my engi build is 31222 stubby with em refire booster(you can use any other oc, thats the one i use cuz its one of the few i have ) and 23122 breach cutter with stronger plasma current (same thing) 22322 turret and ssg granade, hope you may do this sometime
For the minigun I use compact feed mechanic , same build as you do except full ammo ( 21322 ammo in t2 ) , so I can unleash the " beast within " and shooting non stop 😂 very Doom-like, very effective too
I see ron favors the spin up mod a lot. I prefer the +15% damage since it activates faster then most people realize. I'm also a habitual prespinner so I don't get much from the spin up mod.
I wish every weapon has three upgrades per tier, and that the mini gun had a mod for reducing heat buildup per shot. And NOT cold as a grave, just a flat -X% heat buildup.
I like it but during lethal swarm you get overwhelm so easily, have to fall back on shield and grenade. With thunder and hurricane you just hold left click till the horde delete itself.
Burning Hell is my Go to for difficult missions, its just so good. The Coilgun is the best alt to the Revolver imo, It has good fire based stuff it can, Make flaming enemies explode, Cause them to catch fire more, spread the fire around out of the miniguns range, etc
As a minigun enjoyer in most games I play I gotta say... Burning hell my beloved
it really is the Goat
@@Splatterbrainprime do you go Hot Bullets or Aggressive Venting? I can never make up my mind.
@@Psychohistorian42 usually I run hot bullets with T2 damage. But aggressive venting works better if you prefer T2 ammo in my opinion.
It ain't a gun if it don't weigh at least a hundred pounds
If the gun doesn't give me arthritis after prolonged use, it's no gun of mine
Very true!

No matter the build, mastery of the heat mechanic makes minigun sing.
For the newbies. He means "aggressive venting" whenever he says exhaust vector for the last row of mods.
9:05 I think you meant Aggresive Venting instead of Exhaust Vectoring. Great video Ron, hope to see more in the future
10:16 is definitely my new favorite. I wasn't expecting it to be anywhere near as strong for some reason until I tried it

Why I love pairing it with mole. BH gives me their position and boom mole murders them.

This is a pretty cool idea
hey bud i think you forgot to set a thumbnail, maybe an issue on my end
Thanks, I have been trying out the new youtube thumbnail test feature. It sometimes doesn't set a thumbnail though.
Love your guides. I suggest them to friends all the time!
since you're talking about gunner already, i think a video on the Thunderhead would be nice. especially with the new overclock

Reduces the ttk a bit much for my preference but sometimes I just want to shoot a crap ton of bullets
*definitely taking the +15% damage

What skin and color do you have on your burst pistol (makes it look almost like a nerf gun )? Looks really cool

Do you think incendiary grenade is good for this build?
What about tactital leadbuster?
Just for the fire theme
@@JohnPeterJungleSpear3102 Yeah thats my go to, I save it to set fire to large targets and finish them with the Revolver. 2-3 shots Bulks lol
In my opinion Burning hell is the best for crowd control and Lead storm is the best for elimination or industrial sabotage.
Yeeeeeees love the DRG guides
I would like to see a build video for the Cryo Cannon
My friend about that lead storm build
What are the best grenades and perks for it?
Sticky gnads. Can't go wrong with those
Whats the leadstorms framework at the start of the video?
I think that is Neon Band with the new Dragonscale.
@@ReapeeRonthanks for the answer
ReapeeRon rules my sick twisted life
11:15 what is the song name here? i can't find it
Yea new minigun oc is so so so.strong my goto for vengeance if whole.team.dies 😊
Yeah it is very strong!
Do driller next!
Just for the sake of making build you sell mediocre builds as if they are any good
