Why would the choice be between trivia or exclusion? I’m confused. The trivia is a great idea but why would the only other option be no candy? The teenagers we have today carry heavy loads , they’re often dealing with the mental health impact of Covid and they’re dealing with scary realities with environmental conditions and our country endlessly allowing them to be in danger at school. I could go on. Including them in some harmless fun seems to me to be the least that could be done.
@@fourofcats5803... I'm not? Saying that's the only two options? Just that a lot of people exclude them, and it's fun to give them a silly, not important question.

This is a generation of spoiled children, a pony has no business in town. It's cute yes but you have to think about the welfare of the animals, no matter how nice the pony is, an accident can always happen, I've never taken my gelding to ask for candy 😅
oh cmon its one day and the pony is finee, they r little kids so they didnt stay out for long anyways and why would a happy child immediately be a spoiled child? Cmon just let them have their fun and move on
@bostack6714 Hopefully the parents were being as careful as possible &know their pony would be ok in this environment. It's definitely not for every animal but many enjoy the attention &their parents know them well enough to know they most likely won't spook & risk endangering themselves or others. I have 18 pets g have had horses, I know which if mine would enjoy something like this &those would absolutely hate it.
for the people asking: a lot of places do not have trick-or-treat on actual halloween night, this is for various reasons. one being halloween can often fall on a weekday, or a school night. another being weather, if the weather is predicted to be bad on actual halloween, obviously you wouldn't want kids out in rain when it's already cold. it's not that out of the ordinary.
Actually, I am happy to see a teenager tricking or treating. Trick or treating was always a creative and fun way of expressing my own hand made costumes as well. So I figure it is Is just as much a creative outlet for a teenager as well. Besides I don't need to eat all the candy left over. So maybe that's where they're coming from and that's why they're trick or treating at their age. At least they're not out partying and drinking and getting into trouble.

You just haven't found something easy enough to do. Start easy and next project do a little harder. Maybe start with Christmas ornaments, go to the dollar store, get clear ornaments, put lights in the ornament and either feathers or some other deco, there's plenty to choose from, or get some popsicle sticks, beads of silver, different blues, white, and glue the sticks in a "X" then add 1 more across the middle so you have a snowflake shape, then decorate it with beads and whatever you like, you can paint them too, plus put a ribbon at the top so you can hang on the tree. You can give these as gifts too. But it's super easy, anyone can do it, even kids so just try it! Good luck
