Ngl I kinda miss this one already. Mainly because I only truly started getting into this game a few months ago.

From 1:44 on I'm hearing Legends Never Die (the part "they never lose hope, when everything's cold and the fighting's near"). It's a different pitch and tempo, but the general melody is the same. Don't know if I'm imagining things but it's cool!

I feel that there is a bit of a tone similar to fire again [episode 5 act 2].

@@cielosgames It's true that it's better, but I still like the episode 5 act 2 theme. I play this theme over and over again during long trips and when doing something.

Yeah definitely wildly different from one another but being really into piano the part at 1:18, the repetition after it and the part at 1:41 playing the melody to the chorus of tickin’ away carries it for me. Don’t really care about the part of the song that plays in the C2023 Vandal finisher. They honestly shoulda made the piano more of the main focus of the menu song imo.
But as far as the pacing/balance of the song goes Ep. 3 is better overall. This one feels empty for large chunks.
Hella mid. Too upbeat, like celebration music, especially during the first half. Also not enough bass to match the original valorant theme.
