that sounds like a really fun building project the difficulty would be to make it look good but also be safe and accessible for the villagers because they'd rather forget about their village than walk around an obstacle sometimes
That would be great I ceep trying to build that but all the villagers fall of and dye but when I put water under them, I've got a glitch where the trees disappear
Yeah bro the reason the should add that is because the villagers adapted from getting offed by zombies or othe mobs so they live in the trees away from the zombies and pilligars
I think villagers can't open gates mainly because gates are often used to pen in animals. If villagers were to freely open gates, there would be more cases of animals running on the loose. But that just my guess.
Wish mojang made it so village animals will stay in their pen when a villager approaches. Let's say a villager enters the farm, and the game has detected the animals path-finding attempting to move out the pen, the villager moves to the fence gate and emits negative particles. This will signify the villager is yelling at the animals. Also wish villagers could rarely breed/kill the animals to give them a purpose
My favorite villagers are the jungle & swamp villagers. I was so disappointed when they were prevented from being a natural type of villager. @Eyecraftmc I am not sure if this video was meant to have a second part in the future of not, but a few questions I would love to have explained in detail as you are so great at doing: 1) How does the iron golem spawning mechanic work? Most iron farms use 3 villagers, so I assume that is the minimum. Is there a cap of how many golems will spawn per village? Does a larger village result in faster golem spawning, or a larger cap? Are there hard caps on those (eg 200 villagers will produce X golems per minute, or stop spawning once X cap is reached)? 2) You mentioned the reputation system. If you have two nearby villages, and villager from village A gossips to a villager in village B. Will both villages have the negative reputation? 3) The 6 second rule 32 blocks from spawn basically exiling a villager mechanic - If the villager walks back into the original village (or is moved to in a boat), does it rejoin the village, or is the villager permanently exiled, and only allowed to be the mayor of his own new village? 4) Lastly, you have a fantastic guide on iron farms and breeder farms. I would like to challenge you to make a dual purpose iron/village breeder farm as compact as possible. :) Thank you for your videos. Your attention to detail is second to no other RUclips creator I have found for Minecraft. EDIT: 5) Also, a breakdown of how the zombie raids on large villages (if this is still accurate) would be nice. Is there a minimum villager amount before it happens, or is this simply a myth?
In my experience from bringing back villagers who somehow made it past the walls i build they will rejoin the village once they are within the bounds again signaled by green particles and immediately pick up their daily routine. You only might have to free up or build another bed and jobsite for them since they lost their claim on their original ones though
I sacrifice Nitwits to the Drown because they actually are of no use to the village. Better for the villagers to breed a stronger smarter villager for the village. And since a mob killed it, no rep damage

@Eyecraftmc A few days ago I stumbled upon this channel for a breeder and trading and brewing, so this is a very helpful video Question: how do villagers restock trades? Is it Having a legal bed Having their workstation Both None Pls let me know
For 10:50, it should be mentioned though that villagers (and other mobs too) can push each other over rails. So using rails as a "villager proof door" at a place that has several of them, can lead to them escaping since villagers are often in pairs or just gathered at one spot to gossip an all that
One of my villagers ran away when I was going to make a trading hall and he ran so far down a cave that he got to an aciant city and suffocated when I thrived getting him out
Great video! Does villager reputation go back to normal eventually? I hit a villager accidentally while taking their bed and I haven’t really gone back since and would maybe like to trade with them.
How I deal with nitwits and make sure that villagers don’t wonder too far is, I put a 1 block wall of dirt and put thorn bushes around so none of the villagers wonder far and to keep mods away and when nitwits are born I push them out(break dirt and place it back and grow it quickly) and practically exile them so the mobs take care of them while my rep stays good
Finally! I have been working on a breeder and could not for the life of me figure out why the villagers would not breed. I didn't have enough air blocks above the extra beds. Once I solved that I had new villagers within a couple minutes. Would've been sooner but the 5ish minutes cooldown was still on going.
love your channel, actually my favorite about the game! your content is so good and I hope that you grow so much :) and my favorite villager is the taiga villager!
I guess this is what I needed lmao I've been trying to build an automatic villager breeder, with farmers gathering food, giving it to "breeder" villagers by mixing a 1.16 design with your 1.19 one. Seems like everything would be working nice... but no, the farmers stay around the breeders and are not doing their job, even though the crops are fully grown. What could cause that?
i just wanna say that gather doesn't mean that the villager is gathering things it means that the villagers are gathering together at the bell and that's when they kinda just talk to each other ig here's a small part of the Minecraft wiki "Late in the day, adult villagers gather at a meeting place (the area around a bell). When two villagers encounter one another, they mingle (look at each other and "converse" by humming at other villagers). They may also share food, or breed if both are willing."
I had a couple desert villagers all the way out in the middle of the ocean. I finally found a costal city (desert themed) Any idea how they got so far out there?

Crazy how I just got done watching your other villager video and you just post another⁉️
Perfect timing!
Finally! I have been working on a breeder and could not for the life of me figure out why the villagers would not breed. I didn't have enough air blocks above the extra beds. Once I solved that I had new villagers within a couple minutes. Would've been sooner but the 5ish minutes cooldown was still on going.
Useful information. What about villagers with houses vs work places. Can apartments be created for villagers?
Hell yea!! You mentioned the bed air space thing!!! Love your videos, super informative and you've helped me make my MC world so efficient ❤
even if i understand what he’s talking about i still love to watch the videos! good job!
Ah yes, the floor is made out of floor
Just in time! Was waiting for this one
I found a jungle villager by default bcuz the billage spawned between jungle outskirts and plains
I always love it when that happens, I've found similar seeds for mangrove villages with mangrove villagers inside
very well informed and easy to follow video, good vibes overall i enjoy the content sub earned
Your voice adds to your videos greatly
Thank you Eyecraftmc, I can now breed villagers since every night zombies always gravely reduce the villager population.
your voice is soooo soothing man
love your channel, actually my favorite about the game! your content is so good and I hope that you grow so much :)
and my favorite villager is the taiga villager!
Damn, I never even knew that villagers could gossip about you like that xD
I love both the cold biome villagers and the taiga villagers :D
I hate the savanna biome but I think the savanna villagers are the best looking
I guess this is what I needed lmao
I've been trying to build an automatic villager breeder, with farmers gathering food, giving it to "breeder" villagers by mixing a 1.16 design with your 1.19 one. Seems like everything would be working nice... but no, the farmers stay around the breeders and are not doing their job, even though the crops are fully grown. What could cause that?
Jungle villagers are my favourite my brothers and I made a custom jungle village
Savannah villagers look the best, they look like they are wearing majestic red velvet robes and have crowns
learning everything about the villagers I can with your guides
A nice lesson in villager biology! Seriously though, I think I learned more about a videogame’s biology than what I learned in class.
great job ive been waiting for this!
u are the best minecraft guide i know
Thank you, I appreciate that!
Another great vid from eyecraft!
i just wanna say that gather doesn't mean that the villager is gathering things it means that the villagers are gathering together at the bell and that's when they kinda just talk to each other ig here's a small part of the Minecraft wiki
"Late in the day, adult villagers gather at a meeting place (the area around a bell). When two villagers encounter one another, they mingle (look at each other and "converse" by humming at other villagers). They may also share food, or breed if both are willing."
I’m a new player, started a few weeks ago,I finally found my first village!
I love the swamp villagers and the snowy villagers!
omfg i was thinking of making a villager trading hall and was looking for a guide!! love this upload!! v helpful :)
Out of topic but your voice is so soothing
Thanks :D
I love villagers
Tundra villagers definitely look like coolest
This helped a lot thanks
I had a couple desert villagers all the way out in the middle of the ocean. I finally found a costal city (desert themed)
Any idea how they got so far out there?
Had no idea they couldn't walk over rail tracks.. thx 4 the upload✌️
Thanks so much.
My favorite is snowy
thanks it helps
🤩🤩🤩
Default villagers are my favorite, because they're so nostalgic to me, and I love the simple design of their village and clothes.
I learned a lot from this,
Thanks!
Please make an iron farm video for 1.19 bedrock because i can never find a tutorial for it
My favorite villagers were the jungle and the the swap
1. does this still work in 1.2.1?
2. does this apply to bedrock aswell?
Make a video of atomatic villager food farm
thank you very much, i gave my 4 villagers a whole 4 stack of breads and didnt even breed.
now they breeded. Thank you very much
I really like the look of taiga and snowy biome outfits! Currently all my villagers are from plains biome (that’s okay tho I still love them).
I love the swamp villagers that have that leaf on the head
thank you, this means i can re populate this vilage with 2 villagers (and me) living in it.
Masterpiece...
Swamp looks the best and will eventually get to breading some currently working on the jungle ones
Thank you so much my villiger breeder stoped working because I put block above the beds never would have found this out myself.
Tagia villagers are my favorite! (And swamp villagers are pretty neat!)
