I don't think they would use eri's quirk. At that point, they would consider it as exploitation, because she is not meant to heal people. She healed mirio because she wanted to thank him for saving her but that's not her job. And that's why Aizawa didn't ask her to heal him when he lost an eye and a leg.

He's alive, I know it. I recently saw an article that stated that he was DREAMING of a meeting with that All Might. Meaning there's a chance that he's still alive. They never specified that he was dead; just that his heart stopped. People with stopped hearts get revived all the time.

He actually doesn’t, the hero edgeshot I guess, becomes his heart? It’s kinda weird
Actually-
He does. Later on it’s his own quirk that jumpstarts his heart. Edgeshot didn’t actually do it. He says so himself. He was able to sew some wounds shut but he couldn’t do anything for the heart. That was a drop of Bakugo’s sweat that literally reignited his heart
