  • This video details how I install a quick weave via the wig cap method using hair protector or sanex strips. The hair I'm installing is Raw Cambodian Body wave hair from www.BentleyHairCo.com
    Supplies Needed:

    Hair glue
    Sanex Strips (Black)
    Duck bill or croc clips

    blowdryer
    scissors
    Flat Iron
    Steps to install quick weave:
    PREP:
    1. Throughly Shampoo, condition, and blow dry the hair.
    2. Section out leave out. Make sure to leave out enough hair at the top to cover your tracks.
    3. Braid down your hair (optional, can pull into ponytail/slick down)
    4. wrap the braided foundation in sanex strips.
    5. Put on the wig cap (any color) over the sanex strips and sew down the perimeter.
    6. Apply hair protectant to cap, gorilla snot hair spray, morning glory hair protectant, got to be glued hair spray, or pump it up hair spray to the cap.
    4. Blow dry hair protectant/ hair spray making sure it is COMPLETELY dry.
    8. Cut away the excess cap and sanex strip from the perimeter. Be careful not to cut the braid or the thread.
    INSTALL
    1. Measure the track hair against your head from one side of the leave out to the other side of leave out. You should be making a horse shoe shape when laying the first 3-4 tracks. lay the remaining tracks in a semi circle shape.
2.. Apply hair glue to each track and allow to dry for no longer than 30 seconds
    4. Lay the track onto your cap beginning at the bottom working your way up
    5. Repeat the above steps until you reach the leave out
    6. cut off the remaining cap that's exposed (be careful!!)
    7. Style your leave out as desired. Always use a thermal protectant.
