This week, we give you a break from the major storm damage from Irelands biggest ever storm, we leave our little wooden cabin, and get back to renovation work on the stone cottage. And when I say renovation, you all know I mean demolition!
Hopefully though this is the last wall we have to uncover, and not only is it that really strange and puzzling shape, its a totally different age, in fact just totally different to the whole rest of the house.
It's been great fun uncovering the 200 year old stone walls and finding the centuries of history hidden throughout these walls, but after this one, boy are we glad (we hope) that this is over!

I love that you tidy up all the time not like male builders. You must have amazing muscles.You are doing a brilliant job. Surely if you put a tarpaulin on the grass for the rubble, the patch will grow again when you remove the stones, etc. Grass is very tolerant, really.

I kept a small bag of the layered wallpapers to make a papier-mache bowl as a momento. If you've still got them in the skip, go rescue some - don't worry if they're wet or dusty.

Need hard hats working around all the plaster and bricks and such.
You need one of those construction skips, though I've no idea how you'd get it delivered. I don't think your road is wide enough for a seven point turn to get it delivered.
Years ago, we decided to clean out our English Department in our high school. It took 3 construction skips to do the complete clear out!!!! We didn't even knock down any walls!
It was quite the production. I think several other departments took advantage to do a clear out too. Only the government saves more paperwork than we did!
You're moving forward, which is the important part. Keep up the good work!
