When I was in Baking and Pastry Arts school we made gingerbread houses and I also used gelatin sheets for the windows! They look kind of like old-timey glass, so cool!

it's a good question +Addison Barnes, you have to make sure that the light you are using doesn't get hot. I used an LED light that was quite bright but didn't heat up :)

We moved our family across the country to be near family a couple years ago. Our family tradition is fairly simple. We have our special time in the morning and then my husband's family comes over for supper. Being from opposite coasts, though, has caused some consternation about traditional holiday foods. :-) Wishing you blessings on your move, that it will be a smooth transition.
