Tbh i agree w this tier list. I started out w The Baristador but ended up maining Tonix cause i feel i get more bang for my buck with her. Man thank you for making all these vids not many content around for foamstars. We need help you get more views so that more people can join foamstars and it doesnt become a dead game. Tip: you can fire Tonix grenade and then a burst to quickly chill foes. The initial explosion more often than not confuses the player which makes the next burst easier to hit.
Literally my experience, been thinking of ravebreaker tho just seems like a more versatile barista and tonix is like the dps version of them…. I.e the assist vs support role

Most of the time, when I'm in those situations, it's very difficult to stay alive since you have to be more precise with your aim, and you're more vulnerable to get teamed up on. On the flip side, as you stated in the video, he's very good from long range and requires a lot of anticipatory skills to be effective. In addition, if you manage to land on a good squad, matches will be over sooner than expected. In summary, he's a character that can be the engine of the teams success, or the focal point of why things weren't progressing. For anyone who wants to use him as their main character, be aware that you'll struggle many times and may lose in the process. I'm currently still getting a grasp of how effective he can be in all modes and different situations, but I get a good feeling it'll pay off. I think baristador and rave breaker are best at adding foam to landscape. But rave breaker seems to manipulate the field as primary gameplay. Adding OR removing foam
Great tier list man. I have been trying to get into rave breaker after hearing how op he is, but he is really tough to get used to. Your character guide video helped a ton, but when I get into a game it's like I forget everything I need to be doing 😂
I'm glad to see you cover this game! Honestly, seeing the hate this game receives for almost no reason (barring the monetization, which is indeed very stupid and making it hard for me, a guy who WANTS to support the game, support it when I see how overpriced everything is-so far I've bought just the game pass) only reinforces my belief that most gamers are complete morons. They sing praises to yet another generic space themed shooter like Helldivers 2 but they bury this game because it "rip offs Splatoon", ignoring the fact that a) this game is different (dare I say, more tactical) than Splatoon and b) even if it was a complete rip-off, it would still be leagues ahead of 99% of the games on the market, in terms of uniqueness. As far as characters go, after 16 hours of playing, I can safely say that no character feels overpowered. I main Rave Breaker, who is considered to be a mid-tier character, but not only do I win most matches I get, I'm also the MVP most of the time. Whether the opponent is Soa, Penny or Agito, I can take them down with little problem (unless my teammates are completely useless, in which case I suffer along with them). Point is, don't pick a character based on what some meta might suggest. All characters are viable as long as you are a good player. Here's to hoping that this game survives, despite the overwhelming toxicity it faces. This game represents a niche that could use more games representing it and it would be a shame if it shut down... unlike a *certain* Disney kart racing game that you also frequently talk about on your channel.
Yes, they seem receptive on feedback so I think it already has a leg up over most love service games. Let's hope they remain that way and continue to build something special!
Yup seems accurate. Soa is just crazy good, ran into one player in each game and they played soa and they win everytime lol. Though i love Tonix MelT and Baristador since i like playing support or mix of. Not really a DPS player. Great video man!
Soa main Iove her to bits everyone is amazing but for character design and personality I just love her the most and I absolutely love her gameplay style she's the perfect all rounder. She's got some decent mid range game and is awesome close up and her bubble step can not only do some decent foam build up it's great for getting out of trouble in a pinch ^__^......unless you accidentally jump backwards out of bounds into the water using it.....which I totally didn't do while I was the Star Player in one match no not at all 😅

I'm a Tonix main but enjoy the whole roster for their specific attributes. I've tried them all as I'm big fan of the Mission co-op mode. Opinion may change for other modes as I've not tried them as much.
A bad meltie is horrible.... very narrow window to being good. I would swap meltie with jet+tonix. So in A i would first have rave breaker/chaos ender then jet, then tonix B would be Meltie then baristador
I'm pretty sure most of their patches have been fixes and minor tweaks, so yes I believe so. I know jet had a few changes, but overall still same spots.

While rave breaker is strong, personally i put him under support cuz he manipulates the whole field as he sees fit.
