fyi this is their first comeback since being on a hiatus for a year and 2/3 months, this ain't an offical comeback because this is just their pre-release single for their upcoming debut album besides their mini albums and studio album and for their upcoming main single from the album which is heard to be released in either july/august and the album being released in September. Not sure where in America you guys are at but....Blackpink and K-pop in general has been popular and know for a good while. Blackpink even performed at Coachella last year! I was born and raised in America and I've been into K-pop for almost 20 yrs (since I was about 10-11 yrs old). Also.. I've heard K-pop songs on the radio and on tv as well. BTS was played all summer long on my radio station when they dropped Mic Drop. Back in like 2009 ish MTV would play BoA when they would play music videos for a part of the day. Nickelodeon had a show called School Gyrls in early/mids 2000's which then made a movie with Wonder Girls. All of the Microsoft commercials play 2NE1 as their commercial track (Blackpink's senior sisters under the same company which is YG Ent). Most importantly throughout our country every year in different states we get K-Con! Which is a lot of K-pop groups that come over and perform and meet American fans during different weeks. Blackpink has toured America as well as many other kpop groups. Most...to sold out concerts. It has always been here and it's actually very welcomed and embraced and they are absolutely killing it! :) I'm glad you guys have finally discovered it though because it just gets better and better! I was born and raised in America and I've been into K-pop for almost 20 yrs (since I was about 10-11 yrs old). Also.. I've heard K-pop songs on the radio and on tv as well. BTS was played all summer long on my radio station when they dropped Mic Drop. Back in like 2009 ish MTV would play BoA when they would play music videos for a part of the day. Nickelodeon had a show called School Gyrls in early/mids 2000's which then made a movie with Wonder Girls. All of the Microsoft commercials play 2NE1 as their commercial track (Blackpink's senior sisters under the same company which is YG Ent). Most importantly throughout our country every year in different states we get K-Con! Which is a lot of K-pop groups that come over and perform and meet American fans during different weeks. Blackpink has toured America as well as many other kpop groups. Most...to sold out concerts. It has always been here and it's actually very welcomed and embraced and they are absolutely killing it! :) I'm glad you guys have finally discovered it though because it just gets better and better!
