Hello. When I saw the Highland cattle, I started to get excited. Visions of Worcester! Then I saw the vase better and knew that it wasn't Worcester. Thanks for educating me about Crown Devon. You had lots of great finds today. I still have a fondness for Carnival glass. I remember how expensive that it was in the 1980-90's. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for your comments again. believe me when i saw the pair of vases with the cattle first thing i thought was worcester, was gutted when i got to them but still collectable i guess, the carnival was Northwood three fruits in good condition real good money still.

Re cleaning water stains from decanters, have you tried isopropyl with 2 dozen M4 Stainless counter sunk screws? give it a shake

Hi, do you know what a leather handmade decanter marked Italy is worth? Look early to mid-century to me with lion's heads on the bottles and original stoppers. I enjoy all your videos!

In terms of glass and pottery, what do you find sells nowadays? You see this stuff in charity shops all the time, even carnival glass isn't wanted by any stretch.

I hear a lot about "back when" this or that brought in mega-monies. I think everything has it's trendy moment and then fades except maybe Cartier, Lalique, and Tiffany. Still people collect what they collect because they love it and those folks are who I hope to sell to. People still love carnival glass and there are plenty of collectors out there who are buying. I collect old and mid-century toys, when the market fell I could care less. I'm still collecting the toys and I see my pieces are worth more than what I paid for them. Always, I feel lucky that I got certain items when I did because they are double, triple, quadruple the prices now. I don't care what the trends are, people will buy anything and everything. The trick is to match items to the right buyers. In the world of collecting, buying/selling, sitting on one's stock is part of the normal process. Quick turn over items are for supermarkets and vegetable stands. Hi Walter!

Hi hun, i love the way you put that on the end, veg stands and supermarkets , gave me a real giggle, everything comes and goes in and out of trend you are dead right, i am buying as much silver as i can despite the price falling from a pound a gram to 30p and will continue too. so know what you mean, the carnival glass was by Northwood three fruits and still demands good money, best price on ebay was £150 each i put mine up mid range between bottom and top figures lol but very happy hun x
