@@Duality.12 the mig 29 smt comes stock with 2 r73s, which was great during last patch but with the addition of arh missiles, you aren’t able to get within their ~4km range, as well as them being much easier to countermeasure than arh missiles. On top of this, the first radar missile you get only goes around 15km and you don’t get chaff stock so flying above 60m is a death sentence. The only way you could possibly get a kill is by flying at 60m around the outside of the map and getting in behind the rest of the enemy team if they are brain dead and don’t launch 10 amraams at you. Did I mention R73s can be flared? You get 2 opportunities to kill and they will likely miss. Your team usually is wiped or wipes the other team before you can even get in behind the enemies and within 4km before you are touched freaky style by everyone and everything. Oh and R73s can be single flared from front aspect so you literally HAVE to get behind someone. Not hating on R73s though, heat seekers just aren’t the meta anymore (except for R27et’s, they’re nuts).

The best thing about the Mig-29SMT is its 90-degree radar turn. You can maintain TWS lock while notching at the same time. No other plane can do that.

Switch radar/irst mode or something like that. Then you can cycle through all radar modes:)
