ELK-KINGS TRAVERSE | ADVENTURE RUN

Located less than an hour west of Portland, in the Tillamook Forest, is the epic, difficult, and breath-taking (in more than one way) Elk-Kings Traverse.
A common route to take: park at Elk Campground, take the trail up and over the traverse. Then return back to your car via the Wilson River Trail (about 11 miles).
A shorter option: park one car at the Kings Mountain trail head and park the other car at the Elk Campground trail head and do a point to point over the traverse (about 7 miles).
