Some of the older heroes give a lot points to your team. My teams were 17k plus from putting in heroes like skull knight, cosmo, skelectica... Ect. The talents and skills of the heroes on your team do not affect the outcome. Only the team score. Also using teams made up of one warden boosted score as well. ie; all brawler heroes, ect. If Im wrong let me know how.
League understood the game by going south early intead of collecting and fighting for tiles in the north which are just a waste of water. Especailly those close to hometown where castle can't be taken over by anyone anyway. I would advise not to leave a single team in the home base. You need them to take over villages on the way south to the rich fields and big towns. Furthermore I would advise to occupy just the tiles you REALLY need to create a path instead of occupying areas whats just a waste of water and tiles.
Another useful trick: deploy 1 hero in a team and send it to conquer a place that has no garrison active player, you will consume 1/6 of the water usually needed (dps hero please). Tested personally

here is another little trick to use when you notice someone is attacking a tile near 1 you posses(the enemy team must be moving to the tile): if you have a team near a city and the time this team needs to go to the tile is inferior to the enemy you can send your team there, the enemy will arrive later than you(he cannot withdraw while moving) , the tile will be in protection mode for 10minutes and so the enemy is forced to withdraw immediately even before fighting BUT the water he spent to move is still lost. So repeating that when possible is a good way to make enemies lose water.
As a lower might player, i discovered team makeup absolutely matters in taking down a tile or town guarded by an opponent. I had to shuffle heroes into a team with a main tank and two off tanks, healer and 2 good DPS to take down one player that was stalling all efforts. (Off tanks can not just soak damage, but deal out a fair amount of damage themselves - more than your average tank. Rosaleen is a good example.)
Last but not least trick: create a circle of occupied tiles, in the center of it there should be some lv4/5 tiles. If you and your guild keep occuping them, forfeit them and repeat the process, this will reward every single player with plenty of personal points(go on rotation - 1 dps hero is enough to conquer them). The guild itself wont acquire points, however doing so helps single guildmates to improve their rank and their bonus chest at the end of the event(2 ranks- guild rank +personal ranks = chests+bonus chests at the end). So lv5 tiles gives more point than lv4/3/2/1 and empty tiles are the one that gives less point of everything else. It is useful at the start of the event in order to gain high rank (top20) , then after many cities are occupied its still useful and safer than stealing others tiles while mantaining higher ranks. (obviously stealing tiles from others still give slightly more points that this method)
here is another good trick: if you want to conquer a tile defended by a team you dont need to send the whole team but 1 hero only, a very difficult one to get killed such as rambard, ronin, dove (full defensive setting), because when the two teams do a tie (time out) the defender always win and lose 4 point, while the attackers lose 16 points; however when you move and when you heal your single hero both water and grain used would be 1/6 of the original amount needed while the enemy still needs to spend the usual amount of grain and water to withdraw, move and heal. Doing so 6 times will weaken the teams enough to be killed by a regular team but here you will use the full amount of water for 2 attacks instead of 6 and 1/6 of the amount of grain needed for healing a full team.
you can walk with only 1 hero , you use less water .to defense town use all heroes , to move between towns use only 1 hero by team.when you arrive to the other town you can full the time again
i made sense of the bar above each tile going by a blue tile icon: that bar indicates how much dmg can that tile witstand (its 10 for all of them) so if u get to or above that number you knock out the garrison so winning makes them lose 16 right away so theyre out next to that limit shown in blue is +# that's how much it recovers per hour so even if u lose u would need 3 atks on any tile to get it for they will always lose 4 the same idea is applied to the towns,doesnt matrer how many garrisons in it as long as that number reaches 0 you got it but only difference is towns lose 10 each successful atk i have yet to come across an end result of anything but -4 or -16 to either side with the exception of the innate strength loss for commuting far
I think as long as you win on normal tiles you get it,only when atking towns that u have to knock down either the full strength of the team guarding it or the town hp
It’s like the higher the garrison might the more attacks it takes. I overtook a level 5 garrison today and that required at least six attacks. Any information you learn please share it here. 👍
Thanks for the tutorial! I noticed something bizarre today - not sure if they've changed it, but bare land seems to be better than lvl 2? Bare land gives 70 water plus 70 food = 140 goods, while lvl 2 gives just 110 of either food or water. Or am I missing something? :D
All i can say about this game mode ZZZZZZZZZZZZ. IMO this will not be played much. They need to do a better guild game play i always had an idea of the style of a kentucky derby with guilds horse going around a track so the horse could move the guild members would have to do several in game actions include a new guild boss etc etc and so on also fight any player from opposite guild causing the horse to go around the track theres much more but would take to long but i hope you get the gist of it i feel theres so much better they could of done with this.

Yes, there are talents, insignias, and enchantments that are erased when a hero is silenced. In some cases, only a part of it is erased. For FG, you loose all deflect but keep the HP bonus. I think you can google the full list.
There's something that has me question the resources. The guild has gathered resources. Yet I've notice after wait time that nobody's resources are ever the same. If I'm maxed then shouldn't the guild be maxed on resources as well?
what is the best bloody mary build? i just got her from the Lost Battlefield or whatever it’s called and i wanna use her on defense. i have no idea what talent insignia combo to use nor the enchantment and traits to go with it.
It is a stuppid and unfair event and wy ...here is my answer to it .when it did start i saw the problem. some main base were almost placed next to smal town .and some base were placed far of ...than the problem start .if you take in places it take lots of water so your faling behind to the teams that have smalltowns almost next to there base.. so they are upfront because they have the smaltown next to there base ..plus more tiles .that way they are going faster than teams that dont have smalltowns next to there main base . thats wy i dont find it faire from the start
It's got to be the most boring game mode in cc and that's saying something. It might be a bit better for the better guilds but alot of guilds are just stuck in the small area around their fortress with nothing to do as everything is occupied by stronger players. It is far too time consuming to do anything as the horses are so slow. Give it a month and at least half of cc players wont even bother just like other game modes. IGG please modify old game modes so we can play them again and stop using your time and resources to make new garbage game modes.
