I recently bought the same handlebar and put it on my rc120.. I fully agree. It's looks like a minor difference but I feel it's a larger than expected change.
I want to thank you for your videos. I was looking for a new bike and your first video of the Triban 120 convinced me to buy it. That was almost a year ago, on May. Since then I have being riding the bike without any problems, sometimes even in winter. Now I saw that you changed the tires to the Gravel style ones and I bought all the components to do the same as you did, with the exception that I did not buy new rims, instead I will try to do a homemade conversion of the original ones. I hope they'll arrive soon so I can do the change. Perhaps in the next months I´ll try to replace the handle bar as well as you did. Greetings from München!
I am glad you like my video and it helped you to get a bike you enjoy riding. Good luck with the gravel tires- just be aware that the brakes are normally suited only for up to 28mm tires; with larger ones you have to take the air out when removing the wheel.
Hallo, ich habe ja vor einigen Wochen geschrieben wegen dem Triban Rc 120 Disc. Die Scheibenbremsen sind solala. Es hat im Regen zwar viel gebracht. Im trockenen waren es etwa gleiche Ergebnisse (die Disc war besser). Leider kam das Fahrrad mit so einer miserablen Schalteinstellung an. Haben sie beim Umwerfer (also die Schaltung vorne) auch 3 Möglichkeiten? Oder ist es nur bei meinem, bzw. des meines Freundes so?
Ja, vorn gab es 3 Schaltstellungen. Ich hatte mich aber schnell daran gewöhnt. Wie gesagt, ich war überrascht, wie gut die "Billig-Schaltung" MicroShift R8 funktioniert hat.
