    I love the idea of rooting vines in buckets attached to the pergola. Woohoo. I can now share my grape vines with willing family members. My sister would take sticks home to root but they never took hold. How long before grapes develop on the vine using the rooting pail method?

      He’s been doing it about a year now, but the longer the better for establishing roots! We can’t wait to get our in the ground…but then we have to deer proof them!

      @@TheGallowayFarm we live in a city along the railroad tracks and I’ve found it challenging to find plants they don’t like😂 but they haven’t touched my grapes 🧐 but I am definitely going to try the bucket root method as I may need to move my grapes in the near future. I live in canada so my growing season is quite shorter than yours. This year I left the grapes alone until Most of the leaves turned yellow(cold temps)....wow, what a difference in sweetness. I made my first grape juice and didn’t have to add any sugar. I’m still learning....thank you again.

    I have a comment, and then I'll follow it with a question.
    Comment: There are several varieties of Muscadine Grapes. They include (1) Ison's Muscadine Native Grape, (2) Carlos Bronze Muscadine Grape, (3) Sugargate Black Muscadine, and (4) Delicious Muscadine Grape.
    Question: What Muscadine variety are you using here?
    Thank you again!

    How many vines do you have on your trellis? How many pounds of grapes does one vine produce? TIA

    • @TheGallowayFarm
      @TheGallowayFarm  Год назад

      Hey there! One vine per trellis but they are well established. Yield is heavily dependent on water
