I used to have this game on Sega Handheld. It was first system and game I ever bought. The nostalgia this brought. But the anxiety I felt watching this knowing, hell... I played all of these levels.
I'm not very familiar with Master system but a few games I saw on RUclips recently, like this one, really blows me away in terms of graphics. This looks better than some early SNES games. I don't think anything on the NES looked this good (Nintendo consoles are rarely graphical power houses). It's kinda werid seeing so many colours and animation frames when the music is still distinctly 8-bit sounding.
That's the power of the Master System! A larger color pallette does wonders as well as having more graphical capabilities compared to the NES. Only area it falls short is the music department, but there was an FM expansion that some games used :)
- Unca' Donald, how did you defeat almost all the bosses in your last adventure? - Easy, nephews. I used my special secret techinique... and that thechnique is... NIGERUNDAYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SMOOOOOOOOOOKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!
Wait a minute... They said the island was uninhabited but there's clearly someone living there. Did Scrooge not see her or did he lie so he can rob her blind?
@@sebastiann.8088 The GBC uses a 15-bit RGB (32,768 colors), as does the GBA, SNES, and the Sega 32X, while the Game Gear used a 12-bit RGB palette (4096 colors). Furthermore, the GBC displays up to 56 colors on screen from it’s palette of 32,768 colors, while the Game Gear can only use up to 32 colors on screen from it’s palette of 4096 colors.
7:52 Hey, don’t these boss patterns look familiar to ya?😮😱🤨🤔🧐 Cuz Dracula in Belmont’s Revenge and the witch from Mickey Mouse Castle of Illusions use those exact same attack patterns!

True, it's inaccurate, but because the curse didn't get Donald Duck instead! I mean, his infamous bad luck would've been happy to have roommates of extra curses on it's host.
So this whole video has Donald Duck ultilizing the secret Joestar family technique to beat the bosses😏, which means the only way to beat these bosses in the game is........... NIGARUNDAYOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!😆🤣😂

This is one of the best looking Master System games I've seen!
dude, Master System was truly a beast
*sees inflated Scrooge*
I don't like where this is going.
Deviant Art wants to know your location.
I mean...
You are not wrong...
This game was made back in sightly less perverted times. Now *everything's* a fetish. Sigh...

Thanks for the video! I missed the chance to play this back in those days (but I played The Lucky Dime Caper until my thumbs got numb, lmao)
A 2nd quest with Scrooge as spriteswap but harder would have been nice.
Oh, sorry, it's just me liking DuckTales lol

See _Sonic & Knuckles_ had the right idea. Only have one or two passive bosses that kill themselves, not the *ENTIRE GAME* like this one.

That's what Unca Scrooge gets for being greedy. 😂
9:34 Poor Donald Duck can't catch a break
Some Goddess. Donald returns her necklace. Rewards him a crown for defeating the evil priestess and curses him ?? The Gods are cruel I tell ya
A Gorilla, then a lava escape, then a shark, then an eagle
Then a priestess?
One duck you don't want to piss off.
4:10 it's the shark from The Little mermaid
That's the shark design from The Little Mermaid.
5:18 Shark: oh no my teeth!
Without reading "MasterSystem", one can easily take this title as a GBC or even GBA entry.
Nah, the GBC and GBA have a way much larger color palette than the Master System!😄
@@ashkirby8896 Even larger than the GAME GEAR?! 🤔
@@ashkirby8896 And yes, I'm being sarcastic xd but I think Game Gear did actually have a bigger color pallette than the Gameboy Color at least.

Worst sound track ever. Every boss had the same ear bleeding music
That's pretty harsh and far from true. If you want a true worst soundtrack, I suggest you look up Rocky and Bullwinkle on NES
Imagine dissing Kobayashi's music
