not a problem when there isnt a "best crit" in the game
you cant take a railblade and put its crit on a battle axe, the most unbalanced feature is the kanabo crit, which literally is just a parry check
Yeah, but in reality your only half right. The boring ppl who only play to win are going to do stat stick builds while me and the normal players are gonna use weapons we like, look cool or just use them with the og crit. This isnt a bad feature entirely, you just want to dwell on the negatives because your a doomer.

@@averagerobloxenjoyer6546the point is that some weapons have “worse” stats but an exceptional crit so people use it for the crit but some would go for a weapon that’s just a bad crit with insane stats. Now theres not really a choice, you just got everyone using the highest stat block weapons with the crits they like, with exceptions to legendary/unique weapons

This is NOT what deepwoken was supposed to be. This is why ragoozer left, because miserable cretins that play nothing else, but chime all day can't fathom playing anything else, but pvp.

How is this only pvp? Motifs are literaly inspired by ashes of war from elden ring which is a pve game

I really don't think this is as meta breaking and insanely op as people are saying. People will get over it and adapt by next weeks update, after that it'll get gutted to hell and back so it'll be a forgotten mechanic. Once that's done people will realize it was basically just like imagining the weapon dropped with that crit. An Evanspear with halberd crit is literally the same as if they never added the Evanspear and buffed the halberd. No big difference.

This is terrible omg, this is so broken as half of gameplay comes from builds being predictable in you knowing their kit but it differs on the way they (your opponents) utilize skills. For example on my pyre build i use level 5 flame ballista spring spark as a combo starter and extender how? Well usually i can use it after an ash slam or after an uppercut to mix up my opponent as they would probably predict parry a fire blade or m1. These motifs ruin the games PVP because weapons are balanced off of the idea that "yeah this will do high damage but be easy to avoid and counter" but this gets completely unbalance-able when something like a kyrsglave gets an enforcer axe crit or a hubris with the ritual spear crit (op crit on a trash weapon now unbalanced)
You cant pick every crit, there's limits
@monikaisdonewiththeinterne2039 that doesn't matter, even if it's limited to weapon type and non legendarys having a hubris with the warden crit is over powered
@@BokuWaDoctor_Chopper you cant even do that, wardens only work on swords spears and such, the only thing so far you can put on hubris that is interesting is kanabo, and even then its just one stat stick to another stat stick
The only few cross weapon types i seen so far is only halberd crit on spear
