    Please clear me one thing is that if we are making salary sheet as you tell that we have to put gross salary then what is the difference in monthly ctc

    • @inspiredmate
      @inspiredmate  2 года назад

      Gross Salary is the Monthly Earning of an Employee and CTC is the total cost of an employer spent on an employee which included Gross Salary + any other expenses (PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, etc).

    One doubt is there with ESI And PF.
    》As per guidelines if someone having basic more than 15000 he might not get the benefit of PF
    》When Gross Salary is greater than 21000 then he/she will not be benefited of ESI scheme.
    My point is that if someone having gross of 40000 and he was present for 7 days then his/her paid gross will be less than 21000 and Basic less than 15000. In this case is it possible to deduct or leave it as it is.
    Please suggest!!!

    • @inspiredmate
      @inspiredmate  4 года назад +2

      Hi Rudra,
      PF Doubt -
      1. Anyone whose basic+DA is more than 15000 and was never a member of PF earlier shall be excluded from PF.
      2. Anyone who once becomes member of PF remains member of PF irrespective of his salary, whether its more or below 15k, though it can be capped to 1800 for monthly contributions.
      ESIC -
      1. 21000 is the eligibility limit to be registered under ESIC as an IP (Insured Person)
      2. Anyone whose whose salary is more than 21000 shall not be liable for ESIC deduction irrespective of his monthly earned salary depending upon his attendance.
      I hope this clarify your doubts.

      Thanks for your response!!
      But you have taken Paid Gross Salary Attribute for comparing with 21000 benchmark here. I think it should be compared with Gross Salary first ,then we will calculate with 1.75% (Employee Contribution) and 4.75(Employer Contribution) as per Monthly paid gross salary.
      And what will be the employer's contribution to PF if basic goes beyond 15K where employees contribution can be capped with 1800.
      If I am wrong then please clarify. In this part I have doubt.

    • @inspiredmate
      @inspiredmate  3 года назад

      Employee's esi eligibility depends on Full gross only, if Full gross is more than 21k employee is not eligible for esi, if the paid gross becomes less than 21k because of absents then also the employee is not eligible for esi.
