JUNGLE ULTRA / Stage Five

We’re well underway here in Peru, with the runners hitting the course at 4am local time!
They’re currently strung out across the 70km race route, with Stéphane Pagani leading the pack. He’s just passed CP3, with Ben Harrison and Matthew Mayers close behind. Eleonoora Hinsta leads the women and is sitting around 4th place overall currently.
The fight for third place amongst the men is heating up, and Jemma Harding and Kate Smyth aren’t far apart.
There’s a 3pm cut off a checkpoint three, will the backmarkers make it out in time for the long course?
The London Lads, Emanuel Brunner, Patrick Omally, Cedric Delavey, Robert Duncombe, Rachel Belmont, Gage Smith and Monique ParkerGrantz could potentially make the cutoff if they move quickly, but injuries and exhaustion will make every step of the way brutally difficult.
