Every player I know loses their calm, but not her. I have never seen such composure in any athlete, or any individual in real life, for that matter. It's truly remarkable. So gifted, yet so down-to-earth. A genuine leader in every sense. If she had lived in ancient times, people would undoubtedly revere her as a goddess, for her grace on and off the field. You all know exactly who I'm referring to.
She's a super super star....who has struggled a tad with her phenomenal serve as of late. I kinda liked the coach not letting her serve for a while then watching her bounce back from that!!! Like a bleepin star❤

i think we watched one of the worst referee performances. there were lots of points that was overturned by eczacıbaşı challanges. and lots of uncalled mistakes. after the game I took a quick glance and spotted 4 foot faults by Maja. There is a chance there was more than that though. And both first and the second official turned a blind eye to it. It's just unbelieveable. Congrats to Eczacı for breaking this ref/scandicci cycle. This is how karma works in volleyball i guess.

To me, Wolosz is the best setter in the world but i just completely adore Elif, she deserves more recognition in the volleyball world. The clubs should be fighting to have her as their main setter and also, she could easily replace Cansu in the national team. She’s a good blocker and has an amazing defense but most importantly, she always has the right attitude, even when they’re losing, she’s in charge. I hope to see here more in the next big events with the Turkish team.
You are so right. I think Elif should be the main setter of our 🇹🇷 national team. Gui didn’t even take her to the national team. Thank God Santarelli took her and we got to see her talent. In all our finales Elif was our setter and she uses Vargas way better than Cansu does.

C'è rammarico per il primo set, letteralmente regalato da Scandicci per un calo di concentrazione sul 23 a 19. Bene poi Scandicci il secondo e terzo set con le due schiacciatrici in grande spolvero (Herbotz sembra stia entrando in forma play off). Purtroppo negli ultimi due set la squadra è un po' calata in ricezione e difesa (quanto manca Castillo!) mentre l'opposta serba ha mantenuto percentuali d'attacco mostruose ed ha permesso il sorpasso alle turche. Comunque bisogna fare un'applauso a tutte le ragazze perché hanno fatto una Champions League da protagoniste. 👏👏👏👏
Unfortunately, bringing Washington on at the final whistle is a lack of tactical intelligence. She should have been playing more often for the team. Credit to Boskovich and Voronkova, they weren't world champions for nothing! Scandici didn't have ZHU at her best, and unfortunately you don't always have to rely on strong serves. Ecsacibasi played better tactically.
Hande Baladin is the worst outside hitter in the whole competition. Is she having an affair with the coach or why the hell is she playing?? Naz cannot make proper back sets and is playing in a team where those sets count the most! Is the coach taking drugs or wants to lose intentionally? I am so mad with this team 🤬
As an Eczacibasi and Boskovic fan, I couldn’t agree more. Hande was awful today. She’s unstable as always and she makes things harder for the team. I don’t even want to mention the coach, who is constantly making the wrong decisions. I don’t know, how they still keep him. I love Boskovic for her loyalty she has for the club and for her amazing down to earth character, because even tho she couldn’t win a lot with the team, she still decided to stay. She always deserves the best and I hope they will make this possible with a new coach and better transfers because she really wants to win with this team and gives her everything on the court.

@@BojanKordicI'm a Fenerbahçe fan but I understand where you come from because there are many times I feel the same way when Hande plays for the national team. Coaches usually pick Hande not for her offense but for her reception. Hande's inconsistency can make you go crazy. Last summer she displayed terrible performance with the national team at VNL so I was kind of angry when coach Santarelli started with her in the Euros. However she surprised me and had near perfect reception in the Euro championship all the way to the finals. So it's not just the Eczacıbaşı coach, even Santarelli has a soft spot for her.
This is sort of like the reflection of Turkish way of entertainment. We like drama 😮😂 REALLY THO, BIG CONGRATZ TO OUR GIRLS🎉 btw I really wanna point this one out here, people criticise Turkish fans booing and everything but what about italian’s vuvuzelaz, ambulance sirens (I guess I heard that too), right at time times our girls serving or receiving. I would disagree with you. Zhu and Britt are phenomenal OHs, Britt should go to ECZ (or VB) and then they would start winning big tournaments. She's so reliable and consistent. Gabi and Britt are currently the best OHs - in my humble opinion. ECZ just need consistent players, like there were in the old days. Tijana is so fantastic that she can win alone a few matches but she can't win the whole tournament - not against VB, Imoco, FB or Milano. Maja is also an outstanding player, the best setter in the world, so don't say that if you take Ekaterina, the team does not exist. Look at every top team - each and every one have their own problems so they can be beaten. Tijana can be beaten (although I wouldn't want to), Vargas can be beaten, Gabi can be beaten as well. The key should be that almost every player/hitter contributes in the matches, supporting "the big guns" - that is the OP players. Sometimes it pays off to play with three OHs - if you do not have "the big gun" or she/he does not score too much at the moment - look how well it works for Japanese women, it also worked many times for Brazilian female team.There are so many options if the OP is not playing well at a certain point of time. And this is when the coach and his assistants should say sth about it, how to make it happen ;)
Actually, I agree with many of your views. Antropova played like a great team player. The others did not play badly either, but it was not enough, you need to step up in the semi-final stage. For example, the ECZ did this. ECZ is not playing very well in the Turkish league, the coach receives a lot of criticism. I am also one of the critics. Italians got too cocky because their squads were “in paper” better than Turkish clubs this season. They claimed that Turkish clubs won’t be able to make it to the semi-finals. But here are the results. There are 2 Turkish clubs 🇹🇷in the semi-finals. Everybody should learn not to underestimate the Turkish clubs ever again. We still hold the record of winning the most championships.

i think we watched one of the worst referee performances. there were lots of points that was overturned by eczacıbaşı challanges. and lots of uncalled mistakes. after the game I took a quick glance and spotted 4 foot faults by Maja. There is a chance there was more than that though. And both first and the second official turned a blind eye to it. It's just unbelieveable. Congrats to Eczacı for breaking this ref/scandicci cycle. This is how karma works in volleyball i guess.

To me, Wolosz is the best setter in the world but i just completely adore Elif, she deserves more recognition in the volleyball world. The clubs should be fighting to have her as their main setter and also, she could easily replace Cansu in the national team. She’s a good blocker and has an amazing defense but most importantly, she always has the right attitude, even when they’re losing, she’s in charge. I hope to see here more in the next big events with the Turkish team.

Ну слава Богу, что всё хорошо кончилось. Первый сет чудом вытащили. Было волнительно!!! Бошкович MVP матча. Воронкова не подвела, стабильно держит свой уровень, а в защите и вовсе бесподобна. C'è rammarico per il primo set, letteralmente regalato da Scandicci per un calo di concentrazione sul 23 a 19. Bene poi Scandicci il secondo e terzo set con le due schiacciatrici in grande spolvero (Herbotz sembra stia entrando in forma play off). Purtroppo negli ultimi due set la squadra è un po' calata in ricezione e difesa (quanto manca Castillo!) mentre l'opposta serba ha mantenuto percentuali d'attacco mostruose ed ha permesso il sorpasso alle turche. Comunque bisogna fare un'applauso a tutte le ragazze perché hanno fatto una Champions League da protagoniste. 👏👏👏👏

As an Eczacibasi and Boskovic fan, I couldn’t agree more. Hande was awful today. She’s unstable as always and she makes things harder for the team. I don’t even want to mention the coach, who is constantly making the wrong decisions. I don’t know, how they still keep him. I love Boskovic for her loyalty she has for the club and for her amazing down to earth character, because even tho she couldn’t win a lot with the team, she still decided to stay. She always deserves the best and I hope they will make this possible with a new coach and better transfers because she really wants to win with this team and gives her everything on the court.

@@BojanKordicI'm a Fenerbahçe fan but I understand where you come from because there are many times I feel the same way when Hande plays for the national team. Coaches usually pick Hande not for her offense but for her reception. Hande's inconsistency can make you go crazy. Last summer she displayed terrible performance with the national team at VNL so I was kind of angry when coach Santarelli started with her in the Euros. However she surprised me and had near perfect reception in the Euro championship all the way to the finals. So it's not just the Eczacıbaşı coach, even Santarelli has a soft spot for her.
This is sort of like the reflection of Turkish way of entertainment. We like drama 😮😂 REALLY THO, BIG CONGRATZ TO OUR GIRLS🎉 btw I really wanna point this one out here, people criticise Turkish fans booing and everything but what about italian’s vuvuzelaz, ambulance sirens (I guess I heard that too), right at time times our girls serving or receiving. And I think it is not even the spectators, it is actually savinoz production probobaly…..smh

Boskovic is a true superstar and Elif is the best supporting actress. If you remove (scandicci) anthropova from this team, it becomes an average team.
I would disagree with you. Zhu and Britt are phenomenal OHs, Britt should go to ECZ (or VB) and then they would start winning big tournaments. She's so reliable and consistent. Gabi and Britt are currently the best OHs - in my humble opinion. ECZ just need consistent players, like there were in the old days. Tijana is so fantastic that she can win alone a few matches but she can't win the whole tournament - not against VB, Imoco, FB or Milano. Maja is also an outstanding player, the best setter in the world, so don't say that if you take Ekaterina, the team does not exist. Look at every top team - each and every one have their own problems so they can be beaten. Tijana can be beaten (although I wouldn't want to), Vargas can be beaten, Gabi can be beaten as well. The key should be that almost every player/hitter contributes in the matches, supporting "the big guns" - that is the OP players. Sometimes it pays off to play with three OHs - if you do not have "the big gun" or she/he does not score too much at the moment - look how well it works for Japanese women, it also worked many times for Brazilian female team.There are so many options if the OP is not playing well at a certain point of time. And this is when the coach and his assistants should say sth about it, how to make it happen ;)
Actually, I agree with many of your views. Antropova played like a great team player. The others did not play badly either, but it was not enough, you need to step up in the semi-final stage. For example, the ECZ did this. ECZ is not playing very well in the Turkish league, the coach receives a lot of criticism. I am also one of the critics. But here are the results. There are 2 Turkish clubs 🇹🇷in the semi-finals.
Everybody should learn not to underestimate the Turkish clubs ever again. We still hold the record of winning the most championships.
