- In this particular video.... we explore 3 different sites near Williams, Arizona... Sycamore Canyon, Sycamore Point and JD Dam, all beautiful in their own way, it amazes me how unique they are, yet still so close together... hope you enjoy the video.
Welcome to my channel PandaMonium. My name is Ausia and my dog's name is Moo-moo... my rig is the Lucky Panda, a 28ft 2018 Coachmen Leprechaun towing a 2008 Chevy Colorado or sometimes a trailer and Can-Am Maverick 4 wheeler. I live full-time in a motorhome off the grid with 700ah of Battle Born lithium batteries and 600 watts of solar. My channel is about traveling in my RV to different locations across the U.S. with various friends that I call my tribe, where we camp, hike, bike, paddle board, 4 wheel, go to events and venues, eat at different restaurants and explore new places. Certain times of the year I'm at my homestead in the high desert of northern Arizona where we are working on projects, homesteading, gardening and try to practice permaculture and being self-reliant. I am transgender and part of the LGBT community and just wanting to be open and honest about who I am.... I welcome anybody with an open mind and heart. "Onward Bound!" Happy Homesteading!

The "know" on that tree is a burl. Trees make those if they are stressed or injured. It's a great thing to find if you're deep-hiking. Can be used to help start a fire.

I can drive to this lake through the back country without driving on i-40 and driving through Williams. I camped at this lake a few times. Beautiful hike.

That nest in the pine was most likely for a large bird of prey. Small birds may make their homes in holes in those trees, not usually near a big bird's nest.
I was thinking it looked more like a gall with pine needles on it. Ausia, take us back to look at it more closely! 😁😁
Beautiful place, I love the birds. Down by the water, there is one calling in the background that I haven't heard since I was a teenager. 🥰 Brings back memories of congregating down by the river. @25:35 and a few times after that. @25:56

The deserts beauty rivals any in the country that I have seen outer then the Rockies. I lived 57 years in the desert and have now lived 15 years in the Rockies and I will return to the desert to die hopefully when it is time as she is my favorite.
