Thanks for watching!! When I filmed this I was at 9.5k subscribers and somehow we are already at 9.7!! So what I am giving away will be announced soon!!! In the meantime let me know what’s your favorite coral or fish in the tank? ⤵️❤️
Hey Colson, what an amazing video and the tank is stunning. Your Dad knows alot and from the looks of his tank, he's been very successful. Your videos are always interesting and very entertaining. so Thank You for sharing. I look forward to your next video. Keep doing what you're doing.
hi as i am new to your channel i i saw you on pc channel and had to follow you i have to say just amazing tanks you have i am now going back to the ist video and watch all of them and give you thumbs up on all of them keep up the great work so glad i followed you
Could use some advice for cycling my 15 gallon last Thursday night using the whole FritzZyme Turbo Start 900 1oz bottle and a cap full of Dr. Tim’s ammonia. That Sunday I added two hermit crabs and 2 turbo snails along with algae wafers for them to feed on (all are doing fine) . So today I tested my water and these are my results nitrite 1.0 ppm, ammonia is turquoise so I’d say 4.0 ppm and nitrate is 80ppm . My question is should I wait it out or do a water change to get levels down ? I also ordered some FritzZyme 9 Nitrifying Bacteria was going to add it to the tank Saturday to get the ammonia down.
Definitely wait it out! I would have waited to add the inverts as well but that’s ok. Definitely add nitrifying bacteria, I personally use brightwell’s microbacter 7 but fritz works as well.
We don’t really do anything special for them. They are pretty easy just put them in, they will move around until they find a spot they like and we just make sure our water parameters are good and the fish are fed.
my experience with keeping fish and them eating corals is a lot of it has to do with feeding and then even if u are feeding better then u may just have to remove the fish. Tho I believe ppl never try and increase their feeding rather than just getting rid of it asap.
Removing fish is always my last option. I love my fish!!! I bought those acrylic covers for all my meaty LPS but what’s the point if you just come look at your tank and all acrylic cases. :/ colson will find them a good home.

How long has the tank been running? Did you use live rock? And/or Live sand? My initial reaction is to wait it out.
@@BrianSmith-cg9jc I started cycling Thursday night and yes I used caribsea live rock and I used live sand as well
@@colsonscritters appreciate the reply again and will wait it out one thing this is teaching me is patience
Patience is definitely key for this hobby. Don’t worry you aren’t the only one that struggles with it
I love the Trachy!
Thank you!

Great video!
Manganese is the magic formula for gonis. I have a red Goni bigger than my head 😂 and I have a large head.
Wow! I guess it really is the key! I’ve definitely noticed a change for the better in ours
How do you care for the rockflower?

Trust me my dad feeds A LOT and I mean A LOT A LOT. Hahaha but yeah this is true.
