Yep, i tried settling for the wrong man, God warned me multiple times, but i was afraid of letting go and pressure from my parents because i was the first daughter and my younger sisters were married. I went over that agonizing mountain for 6yrs. God loved me even though i was disobedient, by going ahead to plan a wedding(I cannot even mention the many ways God tried to stop it for e.g stopping his salary and i loosing my job so we had no funds to go ahead) When i surrenderd to God and decided to leave my fiance', within 3 months i met my husband and we married 3 months later. Now, more than 7 years in marriage, i have peace. God has blessed us and when i look back to what would have been, i cringe and thank God for saving me. This is my testimony, praise God.

I'm asking this question because even I'm in same situation I'm in love with a guy for 7 years and god is trying to telling me so many times to let go , but my emotions are not able to ,,

@@jyothim117 yes when i finally prayed and told God i surrender, i called off The wedding and within few months i met another man whom i am married to
Praise, be to God whom no matter how much we disobey him, he still comes through for us
@@jyothim117 I think God speaks to us differently. Just because we may have same stories, our ends are usually different....I'd say you pray about it....and let God direct you on how to handle it. Meanwhile don't focus on emotions......focus on truth.....

All I have to say is, what authority is given for you.
The ony authority is that given by scripture,
I have a problem....anyone is welcomed to help me out
My father was never in my life while I grew up...and now that I'm grown he demands I take responsibility of his life and by that I mean financially. He and his wife have three children and none of them works.... sometimes I feel I'm over it but when I remember how he treated me.and my dead mother I get mad....when he makes demands I get mad because why should I take care of him yet he didn't....
I know the scriptures say we should forgive....why does it get harder each time I remember what life has been to me?????
Now I'm married and want to focus on my child and husband but his demands keep coming...I'm I wrong if I decide to focus on my family and stop spoon feeding them with my husband's sweat???
I'm really moving around this mountain of un forgiveness for quite a long time now....how should I work it out?
Just because we have to forgive someone for the wrong they have done to us doesn't mean you have to have anything to do with them! Wish them well,drop them like a hot potato and focus on your family! Remember THAT and it will become easier to forgive them!
Set your mind right and keep it on the right things and have a vision of your life. Amen🙏
