been there, done that. pls note (once again): july-august and almost no lift will cary a bike - even those which lead up top downhill tracks (la flegere -> closed for bikers. so an 1h-planned-tour was turned into 3-4h-hike-and-bike-tour). hiking trails are for hikers. and some of them start to argue with bikers. as long as you pretend to not speak french you're almost on the safe side of every conversation because frenchies there ne parle pas anglais ;-)
on the other hand just one word: EPIC

Now 2020, is 29" 130mm allmountain bike too underscaled for Chamonix?

Just returned from Chamonix. nothing I've ridden in the US (Colorado, Utah included) can prepare you for these extreme riding.

I think this is too good for telly the content is perfect for us mountain bikers and we don't want all the Herbert's up there clogging the place up with air ambulances /mountain rescue . I've literally just done the Wales trip he did with Tom Jones on the other vid and it was just fantastic, good prep for somewhere like that ! The Marin trail was great . I'll be going back.

You Forgot Vallorcine, the most beautiful and technical trail. Or maybe it was on purpose, because it's great as it is, with only a few people riding it.

Dont wanna be a smartass, but the Mont Blanc is not the highest mountain in Europe.
