STEM Immersion Day in Port Kembla, Australia

In partnership with Workplace Learning, Mindflight7, Fizzics Education and the Illawarra Academy of STEM Excellence, we were excited to host a STEM Immersion Day for high school students at the Inside Industry Visitor Centre in Port Kembla, Australia.
In addition to a tour of our manufacturing facilities, students had the chance to participate in practical, scientific and VR-based activities, showing how STEM theory can be put into practice in advanced manufacturing. The program has had a positive impact on students, with some expressing their aspirations to pursue careers in STEM fields like mechanical engineering, as well as considering cadetships with companies like BlueScope.
