What I have noticed is, most of the time when making through balls, the game make the through balls travel in a direction that favours your opponent so tha he can win the ball back not that your opponent is anticipating where the through ball is going so he cuts the passing lane. The game make the pass goes near the opponent, sometime even directly to your opponent players. Sometimes too, your players instead of running into space, they just hide behind the opposition players so that when you name the pass, your opponent wins the ball back and that's something contrary to what a real life footballer would do. Instead the game making the defender or opponent block the passing lane, its tour player that rather goes to hind behind the opponent player so that the passing lane is blocked. I just don't get it
For me I can get the timing perfect but my players always and I mean always take ages to start running with the ball. The minute they touch the ball and have to turn they turn like a brick, when they have space and have a 1v1 they run like snails or sometime they’ll for some reason start toe tapping the ball side to side when I’m just holding RT and point my stick forward just so they can start dribbling straight. And all this is with players like sane, Vinicius and Gakpo. I don’t get it, it’s frustrating when my opponent can just outrun me with players who have no speed but his 60 paced CB keep up with my 88+ paced strikers
Your timing is not perfect. Time and positioning are both important but most times when you time it perfect almost every time your striker runs faster then the cb. When you striker receives the ball too soon the defender will have enough time to catch up with the striker because the striker runs less fast with the ball in his feet.

You're playing with automatic/assisted passes, right? Those through passes are much harder playing on manual. Looks so easy in the video :D
