      Hello Dr. Greguer Every day I bring everything you put in your book I am a therapist, there are foods that no matter how much I want to eat, they give me decomposition every morning, I take alfagalactosidase and I still do the same. Every week I take the b12 2000 mcg since in Spain there is no 2500mcg. I love your book and I would love for everything to feel good but there is no way. I used to take guee olives and coconut oil and remove it and of course now I can only eat avocados because the nuts do not feel good. Greetings and thanks for all the valuable information you give us.

    Theres 2 types of chlorella 1: chlorella vulgaris and 2: chlorella pyrenoidosa.
    The one in these test is vulgaris, pyrenoidosa is supposed to be better , also Taiwanese chlorella is the best it's the least polluted and has the least heavy metals in it especially the organic ones. Also I want to know if chlorella has b12 in it or not, cuz some brands say it has high amount in it and other brands say trace. Isn't this something very important to test , cuz I'd rather take my b12 from something natural than vitamin b12 tablets.

      Apples have plenty of iron, haven't they?

    • @Anna-qz6xw
      @Anna-qz6xw 5 лет назад +1

      SaleXchannel as a girl, I first notice the iron deficiency in the condition of my hair. When it becomes extremely dry and no hair treatment seems to work, then I usually reach for the iron supplement. At the same time I notice extremely low energy levels and that any housework becomes an undoable task. Later, if I let it go untreated, I start noticing restlessness in the legs (esp. at night), shortness of breath, and heart pounding. And I start waking up with headache... Before I went vegan I was already told to take iron supplements. Iron deficiency also runs in my family. when I went vegan, I stopped taking supplements for almost a year. just wanted to see if can do without. Although it helped me overall with other issues, the iron was still low in my blood work. Not too bad, hemoglobin was 9.6, if I remember correctly (that’s when I had all those symptoms). But I was still learning about the vegan diet at that time and probably wasn’t eating enough beans... So yeah, I usually start noticing the symptoms of iron deficiency when I incorporate vegan junk foods (meat substitutes) in the diet while cutting down on beans and other good foods. When I eat clean, I’m fine... this article summarizes the symptoms of iron deficiency well, in my opinion.

    Can you elaborate more on the one pound per week weight loss? Was there another condition in the study treatment that encouraged weight loss? Or was chlorella given along with high fiber food... were there confounding variables, or is the weight loss attributed to chlorella? I assume there was a confounding variable that is thought to have affected weight loss, or you would have done a video on chlorella and weight loss and you would have included it in your Daily Dozen or 21 Tweaks... am I right?

      @murahkami Год назад

      That’s from the anti nutrients. Preparing the grains, beans, nuts properly would help. However, you may need to eat other foods that don’t give you gas. The vegan diet will lead to malnourishment over time. It’s happens A LOT to most vegans. That’s why they start losing their teeth, hair starts to fall out, and muscle wasting occurs. It sadly ages a person because our cells catabolize every 3 hours so we will eat meat whether we fee ourselves meat or not. Our body will eat itself-- it’ll dip into our nutrient stores for what it needs. The vegan diet has way too many anti nutrients and not enough fat soluble vitamins. It’s terrible for women’s hormones too. Please be careful 🙏💕

    • @TheBirdyyeses
      @TheBirdyyeses 6 лет назад +5

      Robert Ponder yes. Most algae DHA supplements are isolated oils whereas chlorella is the whole algae with its cells cracked for proper digestion. That said, chlorella isn’t a sufficient source of EPA and DHA. So make sure you continue using your algae oil supplement and/or eat high amounts of ALA from food sources.

    My chlorella powder contains dangerously high RDA's of iodine, that's why I only use a pinch per week, I'd say 4 g/day might be riskful for the thyroid since I've heard that high intakes of iodine can affect it's function negatively.

    ppl do it wrong
    chlorella and spirulina r the finest most caloricly dense protein sources on this wrong
    not fart inducing, no lectin shit
    sadly pretty dry stuff, but much better than gayening fart inducing soy
    look up spirulina's aminoacid profile...its nearly perfect...even better than animal protein
    chlorella is more of a micronutrient-boost
    try eating 5x1 tablespoon (at least semi-high quality) chlorella thruout ONE day and ull see its power, ull get much more body aware n stuff, sit straight etc...its really nice
    spirulina is cheaper and u can just eat the tablets
    they r the best/cheapest/most available protein source on this planet and raw and vegan that i know of
    fuck beans and grains and their trash aminoacid profile and the fact that they need to be cooked and r nearly indigestable and fart inducing!!!!!!!!
    all hail spirulingo

      yes those grasses r probably better, less chance of bmaa or other weird shit
      but they r less convenient
      the grasses and their powders r less condensed
      its hard to get in 500 calories of wheatgrass/powder (tried it...argh its so hard)
      but spirulina tablets u can just throw down ur throat on and on an on and become hulk
      lul

If something ground breaking comes out about eggs I’m sure Dr Greger would be talking about it.
