“he got a baby face” lol, that’s ‘cause he was a literal baby here. Assuming you're talking about the one dressed as a police officer--that’s Jungkook, BTS’ maknae (youngest member). He was 17 at the time of this filming. He’s the main vocalist of the group, which must have been a huge amount of pressure for someone that young. He was only 13 when he became a trainee for Big Hit, moving to the big city of Seoul to live in a dorm with the other trainees. He was 15 when the group debuted. As you can imagine, the other members took care of him like their baby brother. 😊

Bts have substance. Their artistry, skills and love for music are why they are living legends. But most important of all, they are genuinely good people.
haha Agust D is a BTS member's solo name (his stage name in the group is Suga) btw if i wanna get into bts as vocalists you should watch their live performances, something like the truth untold live, house of cards live, or film out live. it shows their difference in vocal colors and range very well. BTS in my opinion is the kind of group that sounds 10 times better live than in the studio ver because its usually very raw and they usually have less backtrack than usual kpop, or basically no backtrack at all in the case of songs with no choreography. They even had the PTD concert from 2021 where the vocals were so raw it was just always the instrumental playing, they'd have so much changing up the lyrics adding adlibs and even talking and laughing while singing and cracking random jokes. BTS have that raw type of stage presence where u could just put them in a bland stage with a mic and the concert would still be one of the best uve ever attended. Ive honestly not seen a group like that in kpop since bigbang.
ALWAYS pay attention to the lyrics... that is what makes BTS, BTS. You'll be hard-pressed to hear "raw vocal" an ANY artist's studio tracks on anything after the mid 90's. If you want raw vocal, listen to their live performances.
I encourage you to watch them live. Their vocals are legit and auto-tune free. :)
Bts are where they are for a reason I know some people listen to other kpop groups and say there better and never give bts a chance but if you really dig deep into bts music they have so much variety there music is really just on another level especially there lyrics there rap line and vocal line are also the best of the best I recommend a guide to bts members bangtan 7 to start you off with information and the members
My dude....June 13th this year is gonna be a milestone for them. It's gonna be their 10th anniversary since their debut in 2013. I've been ARMY since February 2014 so everything is nostalgia for me & I'm glad to see new folks discovering them. Let's just say they are beyond music....much much more. I'm not sure where to begin, but there are many introduction videos to showcase them briefly. There are many layers to BTS and they go very deep...symbolically, metaphorically, etc. Welcome. 💜

since you seemed to focus on the dancing a bit, how's your eye for picking out the main dancers? bts has two.
the guy dressed as the racecar driver is J Hope, and he's one of them. he specializes in hip hop style/popping & locking, and won a few competitions before joining bts. he's the group's dance leader--he doesn't make the choreographies, but he takes charge in teaching the rest of the members and whipping them into shape, haha
the other main dancer is Jimin--he's the office worker with red hair in dope, and the one with blue hair doing all the solo dance scenes (and the shadows) in black swan. He was a top student of contemporary dance before bts, so he's a bit more classically trained and has a more graceful, fluid style.
Jungkook (the one dressed as a police officer) is also awesome--he's a lead dancer too. he throws a ridiculous amount of power behind his moves, so his style is just like, really intense and sharp. the three of them together make up BTS's original dance line and have a subunit called "3J." they perform dance solos during performances, release special dance videos, etc.

Idol, Mic Drop, On, Save me, Blood sweater and tears, Fire, Not today...I could spend hours writing recommendations, all your songs are amazing. See the live performances too, the vocals are wonderful. If you appreciate dancing and great (and difficult) choreography, BTS really stands out. I didn't indicate the most Pop songs, but they are also great and show that they can make any sound, and and very well.It took me a long time to allow myself to know kpop and BTS, I really regret not having opened up before.
P.S.: On the MV and performance in Prima. You really won't regret it.

If you want to hear their raw vocals do "the thruth untold" or "house of cards" live versions. Its just 4 of them but they are like slow songs where you can hear their beautiful voices.
There is a guide to the 7 members of bangtan so if you wanna check it out you can it'll basically tell you info about the group and the members as well.

BTS dance choreo are always on point. They have mastered the slow and fast transition, the right amount of movements and swag are always topnotched. Who would have thought that not all of them are dancers but they all deceived us all by looking at them when they dance...lol. 🤭🤣 the way they switched positions like the ins and outs is so smooth and clean. I have seen their other dance practice videos and I find them all unique and so tasteful. They always make it look so easy but for sure it's definitely not.
“Pied Piper” is a good example of their vocals. Live performance video is best.

Black Swan is about losing their love for music so when they say it’s my first death is metaphorical. Auto tune isn’t something they necessarily use but it’s needed to add the relevant effects to this song. Agust d is Suga from BTS it’s his solo name, it’s his name plus hometown spelled backwards. The guide to the 7 members of BTS by Taylor is worth watching and you’ll then realise just how truly talented they are and why they are loved by us so much. 💜

They absolutely are stunning live, they just use auto tune for artistic effect. In this case the song is about the fear of losing their passion for their art. The fear is represented by shadows and the vocals are deliberately made to sound a bit flatter, muffled and more similar to one another, somewhat like they are underwater. There are lyrics about being crushed and stuck on the ocean floor as well as visuals of a large void of darkness above and around them to give that feeling of being lost in the dark and under pressure. The corsets are also a reference to constriction and pressure.

Black Swan is a prominent character in the Ballet Swan Lake. To understand BTS you need to study a lot of other classics in literature, art, mythology, etc.

The Shadow is Jimin dancing and Suga said when he was rapping he wanted to turn round to see the dance Jimin was doing. Jimin is the one who was dancing alone with the blue hair at the beginning of the MV. The second Rapper is the Leader of BTS he's RM (Kim Namjoon) and like Suga he was part of the underground Hip Hop scene before being part of BTS. Both of them are Song Writers, Composers and Producers.

That would be Suga, who goes by Agust D in his solo work. That’s Deagu Town Suga backwards. He is from Deagu.
If you'd like some raw vocals from the two sides of the coin I recommend outro : tear (live version). That's a rappers only track. And for vocalists only track the truth untold (live version). Subtitled versions of both.
As for guides to bts, most popular one is the Taylor guide
When Dope was made 2015 they were all still very young, some still teenagers. Best guide you can watch is by Taylor, quite long but very interesting. They can all sing, dance , rap, write, produce etc. No mattrr what genre of music you like BTS will be able to accomodate you. If you decide to carry on you are in for quite a ride.
If you want to hear them sing raw try watching tiny desk concert or them singing fix you by cold play

You’ll learn that them using auto tune is a sound choice, not because they need it. Even the rap line have songs where they sing and are fine without auto tune. (Mostly solo songs, but some BTS songs too)

If you want to perform live or direct, it is on the Jimmy Fallon show. There is no Auto-Tune there, only their real and raw voices. You will not regret it, I am sure.
Agustd (suga from BTS). Just released an album 2 weeks ago you should react to it specially the title track called HAEGEUM that song is amazing
They can all sing they are 3 Rappers and 4 vocalists but they all sing and one of the vocalists is a Sub Rapper. They are all song writers, composers and producer and because of this they are all members of the Korean Copyright Association. They also work with their own in house team when required. They are all soloist in their own right but when they come together they are unstoppable. Their MVs don't really do them justice really seeing them perform live is where you see and hear everything which is far beyond what you can see or hear on a MV.
you will be rewarded for this BTS journey. the are so talented and have so many good songs, it will make you thirst for more. Try mic drop, Airplane pt 2, Born singer (live performance).

You will learn about each member & how the group began, the struggles they went thru & still do. They are all doing solo work now since the eldest member, Jin went into mandatory military service in December. J-Hope will enter military service this week. BTS consists of 3 rappers-RM, SUGA & J-HOPE, and 4 singers -Jin, V, Jimin, and the youngest Jungkook. They are ALL amazing & they love their fans(ARMY), who are ALL ages. So glad my daughter introduced me to them over 3 years ago. Love that they are multi-talented, genuinely caring, yet they remain humble.

If you ever want to know about what BTS is going through, just read their lyrics. Dope, they are telling you that all they do is work/practice. While all the artists are going out parting BTS are working toward their dreams. Back in the day, I remember Jimin staying to practice and they found him the next morning asleep on the dance floor. He worked all night.
