This was live in '65-no remakes, no splicing, no sophisticated audio filters: just pure, raw, disciplined talent. I wish we had singers like this today!
there are actually still quite a few top notch singers just like this. But not enough of them, and just like Bobby they have some anxiety issues and don't realize just how good they really are.
This video was played at Bobbys funeral In 2003 to honor this great talent i listened to the Righteous Brothers since a teenager in the sixties Bill Medley was the other Brother a great talent also
It is really wonderful to see you beautiful young ladies hearing this great song for first time. Your smiles and reactions are so nice and genuine. May God richly bless and guide each of you in 2024.
Unchained Melody has to be one of the most heart touching songs ever created. I can see how it touches your souls. I can see it in your beautiful faces. Good video girls. God bless. 🕊
He was 25 at the time, and his mother was in the audience for the first time ever at one of his shows and he was really nervous. Beautiful. Can't get any better
I have recently heard that ... which is gratifying, because Bobby's father was very abusive to his mother when Bob was a little boy .... I hope this performance showed her that it was all Worth it .... and then some! 8,-)
Yeah I heard that too about his Mom I just wrote the same as you lol only 8 months later. Yeah that adds to the song I think to know his Mom was there.
Three beautiful ladies reacting to The Righteous brothers. I'm there.thank you for reacting to such a beautiful song. This is live. Hits every note perfectly.
It is okay to cry, as a 73 year old man I still get teary eye as Bobby sings. It brings back so many memories of being a teenager. Enjoyed your review.
IT WAS SO LOVELY AND GREAT TO SEE 3 YOUNG GIRLS OF THIS CURRENT GENERATION REALLY APPRECIATE AND BE SO MOVED BY BOBBY HATFIELDS PERFORMANCE. TRULY THIS PERFORMANCE BY BOBBY HATFIELD BACK IN 1965 IS WHAT WE NOW CALL "X-FACTOR PLUS". GREAT REACTION AND EMOTIONS GIRLS > TAKE CARE GIRLS FROM EMILIO IN ADELAIDE CITY IN AUSTRALIA
The way he (we) vantrickulated his voice indelling the very fiber of his feelings of emotion capitalizing on his unfading love with tenderness gives effortless power of electricity which energizes a person to want more and to share in giving the whole world the same endless journey everyone needs to endure TIME,,,, Forever..
OMG the late Bobby Hatfield! I was 15 yrs old when watched him sing this beautiful song on the Andy Williams show in 1965. I fell in love with him. I was so lucky to see him sing this beautiful song. RIP Bobby. We miss you so much! 💖😢🙏
lucky lucky lady , in about 93 i was fortunate to see and hear judith durham sing the carnival is over live in syney aus it eclipsed the cd better than spectacular to have been there and witnessed bobby sing you are a very fortunate lady keep well.
Most of us ladies feel this in our soul. It's like he is singing to us. It's the most romance I have ever felt. Well, maybe not the most, but so, so close.
What a beautiful and from the Heart reaction! This song is so famous in America and Europe from the 60's that most folks grew up with this song. It's always a blessing and a gift to hear a Reaction from other parts of the World.
The time when music was such a joy to listen too, no jumping around the stage just pure talent, no auto tune, no histrionics but beautiful music that melted the heart of many a young lady and interestingly more babies conceived whilst listening to this song than any other, enjoy.
I once met Bobby Hatfield in an accountant's office in Newport Beach, California. It was the late 1970s and I was working as an office temp. It was a lifetime ago...R.I.P. to Bobby, et al, and to my youth. :)
Bobby Hatfield was 25 when this was filmed before a studio audience in 1965. He had a cold suffered from stage fright and his mum was in the audience. Therecare hundreds of versions of this but this and the recording by Sam Cooke are the best of them. He and Bill Medley had a lot of hits. Bobby sang high and Bill low. You should look up other songs by them, eg You've list that Lovin' Feeling. Enjoyed watching your reactions which have been shared by many, many people over the years.
Bobby Hatfield owned that song. No one will ever do a rendition with the heart and the soul that Bobby had. His voice was like velvet and he had an unbelievable range of notes that he could reach. Being a countertenor helps the richness and the love, all of it shines through when he’s singing. We were so very blessed to have him. He was more than just a singer. He was a musician. I don’t even know how to put in the words how phenomenal this show was. It was one man one old fashion mic, with no auto tune, with no do overs with no dancing with no movement with nothing to add extra, it was just Bobby and his voice alone that’s it, there’s nothing else to focus on except Bobby’s voice and it held you there because it was magnificent
Such a beautiful piece.. excellent choice and how beautiful you three are to see. Try listening to Nancy Wilson sing “Girl it’s over”. As she tells her best friend that the relationship she is in is over but she hasn’t recognized the signs. @1967
This song is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever heard but it pales in comparison to your faces!!! Dear lord, I’m beyond jealous of how gorgeous you three are😍😍
Beautiful song , beautiful graceful women a double treat… thank you ladies. I’ve recommended before and I’ll do it again .For some black soulful music from that era I strongly recommend Nancy Wilson singing’ Girl it’s over. She’ll make you grab your heart in appreciation.
Ladies this guy is OLDER than a boomer! Hard to believe isn't it. I enjoy watching the ladies melt in their chairs listening to a guy named "Bobby" sing. That's my parents generation! But what a voice. Bobby Hatfield owns this song. Over 400 groups have covered this song but this is the best version. And this boomer is so happy that timeless music touches us all.
Great reaction and thank you. For me this song expresses what deep love for someone is like. For those that have had deep real love in their lives will truly understand this song and the way it was sung. We all wish for this great love and this song reminds us what that is like. And to do anything for that one love. It’s harder to understand if you haven’t had deep love in your life and created this magic with only one person on this planet. Nowadays, love is like a business and someone to share your bills with.
This song will live forever and 40 years from now young ladies like you 3 will give the same reaction by loving the song! It's great to see young ladies like you loving the song!
I am so happy that you ladies are able to enjoy these classics. Good care to all of you and your families, friends and loved ones. I live close to San Francisco, CA. I am not certain where you are from, but I do recognize a lovely lilte. Take good care! Juliet
