Very good simple analysis. As much as people say pick Waver or Tamamo, I would most likely go for Mordred since gonna pull for Koyanskaya and Oberon soon. Since I started playing FGO 1 week after the end of the Free SSR ticket last year (kinda sucks), the need for waver for me is less needed nowadays since I also have Castoria (got her form anni last year). After this video, it gave me a peace of mind to just go for what I want at this point.
I picked Artoria Saber. In the first ticket I chose Waver for necessity but this time I wanted to pick based on my preference. Not only that I summoned Koyanskaya yesterday so that just boosted my decision for buster looping
Last year I missed free SSR because I started playing only on 5 anniversary. And now I will get Mordred. After a year of waiting, I will finally get my most beloved waifu in the entire game. This year was tough, but my reward is coming very soon ❤
I am torn between Enkidu and Sitonai. Enkidu is a great boss slayer. Sitonai is an arts alter ego... I already have Melt but she is a quick type. I hear that Enkidu is really good for something in LB6 part 3. (but then we have the leyline continue feature) But Enkidu can also spook us any time while Sitonai will never come outside of rate up banners.
Enkidu would be usefull in a lot of situation considering most of our enemy are beast/threat to humanity which give his np extra dmg. And besides he also would be usefull in the next LB 7 as well
Enkidu is amazing, they carried many of boss fights for me over the years, great damage + great survivability + plenty of green cards to provide crits for themself in solo situations. So clay friend is probably a more practical choice. That said, Sitonai is harder to get, so if you really want her, you probably shouldn't miss the chance.
Yeah i am going OG saber np 2.. she's going to be my primary lancer farmer when Koya hits.. just seems more worth it then say Sitona (who i like) but will probably get used once or twice Have Waver.. i was thinking about Tamano.. but i have Castoria and a bunch of other Arts supports + Koya/Oberan (have enough SQ saved for pity)

Medb is great with her 40% (iirc) attack up for all males on the field plus being able to dish out a fair amount of damage herself, Sitonai is also pretty good since she can fullfill the role of ST Arts assassin. I have both at NP2 so I can tell you either way you can't go wrong, I'd personnaly pick Medb tho, just because of LB6 especially part 3.
Medb has a strangely enticing personality. You'd think she's just a slutty rude asshole but whenever she's in an event she always reveals that there's much more to her beyond the first impression. I can't help but like her.
I was planning on using this ticket on Lancer Artoria, but now that I got her during Camelot’s grail front, I’ll just us it for Achilles who I just find really cool.

While I understand buster looping is greatly valued by the community, maybe taking into account non 3 turn content would be a bit more helpful especially for newer account.
For newer accounts just pick who you like. The game is going into a buster meta, so he is giving advice for the changes coming to the game. Like Waver is decent but no one uses him anymore when units like Castoria,Skadi Summer,Proto Merlin, Tama vitch and Yi. The game is about to enter 1,1,x content, so he is giving out decent advice. If you want a honest answer most of these servants suck. OG Saber, Mord, Medb, Waver, Cu alter and Vlad are the good ones. You should always pick whoever you like the most. However, if you want good advice you should always research this stuff. My friend started the game during Liz Halloween event, and just told everyday “get Skadi” even tho he had waver.
If you don't have Waver, pick Waver. Following that check, pick one of the broken perma dps (Enkidu, Ozy, Vlad, Tesla). Done, that's it. Cuzilla is also pretty good but he has fallen off, and you can just borrow him if you want to solo stuff.
Personally, picking waver is both the ideal pick for me, but it also brings my greatest shame. So back in 2022 when i could pick an SSR, I picked waver bc I needed him badly. I thought I got him at bond 5, so I kind of just laid off the game and focused on irl stuff. Then when I logged in again, I was told I was extremely close to bond 5, but didn't make that final leap to get him there, thus I was missing Waver again. Now that I don't have to worry about bond levels anymore this time, getting waver now is a good idea... Even if I can't look at him the same way ever again after screwing up that hard lol.
Great breakdown for this. Good look at what each character is capable of. Should help people make their minds. I’ll end up going with Medb. Cute, has had great story moments, and all those costumes! Plus I’m just generally in a solid spot. So mostly picking due to character. Obviously solid skill set too though.

Lartoria. I have Eresh and managed to pull a Melusine, but she was my favorite of the Seibahs before Castoria, has a cool design, and hopefully gets a Lion King costume eventually.
Yooo I'm also choosing Quetz, for the exact same reasons as you. I love her and she must be in my Chaldea. The last ticket I used was for Altera, because she's my favourite servant overall, period. Can't wait for Quetz to join the lvl 100 elite team!
I picked Artoria saber. I joined originally and she was the first servant I really wanted, and now after many many many years, she is now part of the gang. Now of the originals I only want Jeanne alter, but I dont know if she'll ever even get her own dedicated banner from now on.
I currently have 12/32 of the available 5* options as a GSSR-only player who has been playing on NA for a little over five years now. The ones that I’m interested in but don’t have a single copy of are Altera, Seiba, Lartoria, and Quetz. I think I will finally just get my own Seiba this time since it’s strange not having her after all this time, and she’s just too iconic not to have out of all the others.
This was very informative right before servers open, and after coming back to fgo after some time, i was thinking on getting Enkidu, Jeanne, or Quetzalcoatl, and in the end I'm probably going with Quetzalcoatl (tho if Ishtar was there i would have taken her without hesitation).
Last year, i made my choice of boosting a NP4 unit to 5. That went to Jack-chan because i only got her to 4 purely on spooks, kind of hoping if she'd spook more on future rolls that i could get more rare prisms and USO. But she hasn't shown up since and that was maybe a mistake. So this year, I decided to go with whomever is still at NP1. Due to the fact that the list is missing 5 permanent servants from the pool, the list comes down to 2 servants: Artoria Lancer or Old man Li. Arts...or Buster? Going back to those 5 servants, excluded: at this point 2 years ago, (slight time correction due to debut times when compared to NA, before Lasengle) Odysseus had been in the game for 2 years, the Dioscuri were available for a year and a half, Nemo 8 months, Vritra 7 months, and Galatea at barely under 5 months. When you realize that the twins came out on the first pickup banner for 5.5, 2 whole banners before Europa. But Odysseus was available 2 weeks before that with the white day rate up. Anyway, RIP DW, but i can't understand why Lasagna is still stringing NA players along with bad DW decisions. It's great that we got pity early, but there's no reason to be dragging their knuckles when they have the full support of the player base behind them. DW will have been dead and gone for 2 years upon new years; i don't need to blame Lasengle for mistakes that aren't theirs, but if they also refuse to own up and correct it, it makes it harder to want to go for anything, even when it's free.
Relieving to hear that I don't have to do anything additional for this pickup. Prior to this video, I'd heard about needing to get to Bond level 5 within a certain time slot and was panicking over not knowing which node was best to farm that. Now I can pick up my Mordred and not worry about losing her XD

I’m picking whichever has the most strengthening and interludes available so they will essentially be a small SQ bump for me. Right now it’s looking like Ozymandias.

This was fun, my pick is Lartoria, was deciding between her and Quetz for waifu purposes but THAT interlude won in the end. I also already have their other forms as consolation for Quetz so it's fine for now.
I'm picking Tesla. The times I have tried to roll for this man, he has footed the bill tremendously or came back at an inopportune time. Sure my Ishtar is NP2, but this one is personal unlike last time with Tamamo.
If I had none of them, I'd go with Tamamo because of Fate/Extra. However, considering I already have her, Sitonai, and several of the others, I'm probably going to pick one of Mordred, Napoleon, Bradamante, and Drake.
Good thing I'm already set for Tesla. I'm hesitating whether I'd pick Lartoria and him but thankfully getting Melusine fixed that problem. His animation update made me love him more and the fact that he's AoE archer (which I don't have SSR atm), gave me easy access to loop more sabers and that seals the deal for me.
Most likely to go with Tesla. Story locked, good buster loop compatibility, 2 interludes and 2 rank ups for some extra quartz, also good for nodes that Melusine has trouble with.
Kinda misleading on the Saber and Berserker analyses. The spreadsheet shown displays only self buffs. In a 3T looping environment, Altera is the clear winner at about 609k damage against Lancers at NP1 versus ~546k from Artoria and ~469k from Mordred, unless you have Rising Mud Rain (a general pool gacha CE that never had a rate-up). As for Berserkers, Vlad is miles ahead of the other options if you have Castoria. There's no need for an anchor like Cú if you can simply use your NP again and again and again and again.

I've been playing since release and still don't have my own Waver, I was on a break from the game during last anniversary. So naturally I will picking up Anastasia. She's just... she's really cute and I love her.
My main choice is Seiba to fill in the vacant spot of SSR AoE Saber in my Chaldea, but who I'll finally pick will depend on the results of my Koyan rolls & GSSR. On the very low chance that Seiba spooks my Koyan rolls, or if I get Ibuki / Muramasa as my GSSR, then my 2nd choice would be either Drake or Sitonai (the former for waifu reasons + Double Koyan candidate, & the latter for the fact that she's Story-Locked + works well with Double Castoria). I was originally going for Cu Alter but I realized that his niche in my Chaldea has been pretty much filled by multiple Servants: Cockroach Zerk - Bond CE Herc SSR ST Zerk - Kintoki, X Alter Unkillable anchor / soloer - Taira no Kagekiyo
Tesla's been a mainstay of mine since Singularity 4, but I've never been able to NP2 him. I'm just gonna take that chance now; I also have Gilgamesh, but I've always preferred Tesla's kit (and character, frankly) to Gil's. Already have all the other obvious support options, so Tesla NP2 it is.
A bit hard to choose. Out of Servants I don't have yet, I'm considering Karna, Ozy, Cu or Sitonai. Also considering np2 for; Altria, Lancertria, Enkidu or Jeanne. I'm leaning towards Enkidu or Lancertria, as I don't have an np2 Lancer SSR (or a np2 SR grailed), quite possibly Lancertria as she's story-locked and I can't imagine a future banner I'd roll on with her on it.
As a newbie, on one hand, I really need good Rider and Assassin units, but that Artoria bias is gonna make me pick Seiba. Besides my preferred pick for Rider class would be Achilles and he's supposed to get a rate up soon, so it's all good. Seiba's my pick.
Going for Tesla. On top of him making enemies completely explode into mushroom clouds with Oberon, keep in mind that he has I think 4 Interludes/Rank Ups to juice some SQ from. It's the "genius" choice in this time of need.
Since i have total 2 times pity (yes you're right, 1800++ SQ Tix if 1 tix = 3 SQ) on this anniv, imma save this free SSR ticket after Oberon banner if i hit the pity on both of Koyan and Oberon, or after Arjuna Alter/Morgan banner (depending of the GSSR result on this anniv banner, i roll on Arjuna Alter banner) if i got plenty of spare SQ tix after Koyan Oberon roll. I have so many what if condition for now, but one thing for sure, the free SSR tix will be a waifu.
I'm torn between Cu and Ozy, I like them both, but I have a lot of Rider choices and my true love Hijikata is the true damage dealer for Berserkers. Maybe I'll pick Ozy as he'll have a lot of strengthening quests.
I’ve had so, soo many spooks and rolls over the years, that I have most of these non-Story Locked options at NP5 for _a while_ now. It’s also been giving me trouble in picking which GSSR to roll, whenever those come around. Still, this video did help point out a few things for me. I completely forgot Enkidu is getting that 50% charge, so I’m pretty hyped about that (although, he’s one of the NP5’s, so not my choice). I was honestly thinking I’d go for a Rider, either pulling my first Quetz, or pulling Europa or Medb, bringing whichever to NP2, but this video has me looking more towards Cu Alter or Sitonai. Either one would be going to NP3, and each has specific pros. First off, I’ve actually used Sitonai a number of times recently with the current Castoria meta, and she’s rather easy to loop with even though Melt is at NP5. OTOH, I wasn’t really aware Cu was getting such a strong NP buff. While it’s not _complete_ removal, it can even get rid of perfectly invincibility and we *are* moving into the Buster meta. I don’t really use Berserkers that often, though, and Vlad should probably be NP10, minimum, after all the spooks. The fact Cu can’t loop is also a bit of an issue, but not THAT much of an issue. I think I’m leaning towards Cu the most, but Sitonai is really, really tempting me
Probably Artoria for me. I’d love Lartoria but she’d be my fifth lancer, and fourth AOE. Maeve isn’t really good which sucks because her costume from Grail Live is so pretty, and I don’t really need Sitonai with Melt on my account. I ended up getting Li and Tamamo since last considering this too, so I think Artoria is my best bet.
Unfortunately they left virti off the list of characters and id have definitely picked her for np2. I might pick up quetz for a np2 upgrade but unfortunately the devs seem to hate her because they have ignored her for years. I also might pick up sitonai because I would love a single target arts alter ego.

I'm torn between Bropoleon and Enkidu. As I don't have a 5 star Lancer either Enkidu or Karna should do well but as I have Gil, not having Enkidu with his rival and friend (read: boyfriend) feels bad and Napoleon for me is one of the coolest archers and husbandos in the game. I would love to go for NP2 Sitonai but I guess I really need to expand my Lancer class as in my Chaldea that's the class that is the hardest for me to summon in the gacha and my only optimal farmer is NP5 Parvati so having options is always nice but Bropoleon is soooo tempting! I can't wait for the ticket and the anniversary to come!
My choice largely depends on whether I can get Koyanskaya and Oberon, but if I do, then I'll probably use it for Tesla. My reasoning: - Archer is the only class for which not only I have no dedicated farmer, but I also know I'll get none in the near future (for Assassin I can at least wait fro Gray and/or Valkyrie): as it is, with access to the Koyanskaya system he offers the most to my roster - the fact he's story-locked means it's very hard to find him, so there's the rarity value (which is why I prefer him over Napoleon) - on JP right now he has 2 Interludes and 2 Rank-ups, so he also gives some bonus SQ in the end I was considering Tamamo as an alternative, since I have Castoria and more Arts support is good, but I'd rather go with the choice that adds something new to my roster
I'm going to choose Waver, even if I get castoria, having another 50% bar is essential, plus if everything goes well and I get Oberon I could support some Servant caught from my whale friends, like a melu np5 ( I know that the supports for her would preferably be Koyanskaya, but at the moment my sqs are very few so I prefer to take a chance on oberon which will help more in general than on her which would help Burster more, plus my main dps are arts)

I'm stuck between getting Osakabehime or NP2 Sitonai. It's hard to pick. On one hand, I don't have Skati so a quick support would be nice to have and Wu sometimes does not feel like enough support for Quick. But her Quick boost is tied to her NP which makes it awkward to reach and I have NP2 Jack as my buff remover. On the other hand, NP2 Sitonai will mean I would have a good Arts single target nuke but at the same time, I own NP5 Passion lip, NP3 Kingprotra, NP2 Doman and we have the free NP5 Mech Eliy. That's not saying all the other good arts single target monsters in other classes have too.
Actually no clue who I'm gonna pick. Sanzang probably makes the most sense gameplay-wise since she's one of the very few good ST casters in the game, and it's a niche I still don't have filled (technically have caster Shuten, but rarely use her), but there are also some other ST units that would do really well with an NP2 upgrade in my roster like Ozy, Vlad, and Sitonai. Cu Alter is tempting too, since you can never go wrong with a survival zerk as a team anchor, and my heart says to grab Clay for NP3 because they're my favorite servant, and my primary NP5/Lv120 candidate.
Sanzang for me I have 8 servants getting buff in the anniversary so sanzang with 2 rank up means extra 14sq and I don't have any ST Caster. I was planning tamamo but I will choose after rolling for koyanskaya but more likely I will pick sanzang. And good luck to all masters rolling for Koyanskaya. And may you have enough for Oberon 😊
See I’m stuck between waver and tamamo. I have a castoria and I’m saving for vitch. Waver would definitely help making certain servants like summer tomoe able to loop in my case. Rn I’ve been using kichii hogan as a third plug. Which helps but sometimes isn’t enough. But then tamamo would provide sustain and greater usage for my arts team since I’m super arts heavy. It’s really difficult .
I would definitely recommend Waver more based on my experience on JP. In the next 2 years you'll see Xu Fu, Proto Merlin, and Johanna added to the game who really eat up a lot of Tamamo's potential use cases. Waver/Reines on the other hand i still use all the time, although you don't need both. Obviously if you like Tammy as a character, you can ignore this.
Honestly they both have their place in an arts team(tho Tamamo is definitely better in this regard) Tam can make looping without extra charges after first turn easier + solid dmg. While Waver has 50% charge, and has more use in other teams besides arts. Something to make note of is that Tam's ascension and max skills require 161 bones, which is HEFTY. While Waver's ascension and skills mat's seem not as bad.
I really would pick Jeanne if at least she already had an Animation Update, but it is what it is. That said, i am probably going with Scheherazade or Lartoria NP2. :)
My account is curse with saber Faces except the alter versions, so for the sake of loving the FSN franchise, i automatically pick Saber Artoria bcuz thats my D wants. Just sharing 😂
I'm still stuck between Waver and Tamamo. I mean, for my Arts team, Tamamo would be ideal... but when I fail to nab Koyanskaya, Waver can at least off a bit of support with a borrowed one.

Personally i will use the ticket on Artoria Lancer even if she is already np2, because she is limited and that 15% more damage on her np will be useful now that finally thanks to Koyanskaya i can use "seriusly" for farming, and last but not least i like her .
For me I’m torn between Waver and Artoria. Waver was my favorite character in zero and his 50% battery would be really helpful even if I already have Castoria. Meanwhile Artoria would give me an servant who lets me hit the big red button to win and give me a viable buster farmer on top of being my first 5 star saber in the game.

Enkidu would be usefull in a lot of situation considering most of our enemy are beast/threat to humanity which give his np extra dmg. And besides he also would be usefull in the next LB 7 as well
Melt is better than Sito, even if she's quick. Enkidu is really amazing
Enkidu is amazing, they carried many of boss fights for me over the years, great damage + great survivability + plenty of green cards to provide crits for themself in solo situations. So clay friend is probably a more practical choice.
That said, Sitonai is harder to get, so if you really want her, you probably shouldn't miss the chance.
Go waifu/husbando. It’s a guaranteed to get them, so make the best out of it.
And if gameplay is your top priority, I’d say Enkidu imo
If you have Castoria I recommend Sitonai. But if you really want Enkidu then go for it. Both are really strong.

Sitonai was my original pick for her simply being the OG Illya + alter Ego but now I'm seriously considering Medb due the past few events and LB6.
Medb is great with her 40% (iirc) attack up for all males on the field plus being able to dish out a fair amount of damage herself, Sitonai is also pretty good since she can fullfill the role of ST Arts assassin. I have both at NP2 so I can tell you either way you can't go wrong, I'd personnaly pick Medb tho, just because of LB6 especially part 3.

Medb has a strangely enticing personality. You'd think she's just a slutty rude asshole but whenever she's in an event she always reveals that there's much more to her beyond the first impression. I can't help but like her.
I was planning on using this ticket on Lancer Artoria, but now that I got her during Camelot’s grail front, I’ll just us it for Achilles who I just find really cool.

While I understand buster looping is greatly valued by the community, maybe taking into account non 3 turn content would be a bit more helpful especially for newer account.
For newer accounts just pick who you like. The game is going into a buster meta, so he is giving advice for the changes coming to the game. Like Waver is decent but no one uses him anymore when units like Castoria,Skadi Summer,Proto Merlin, Tama vitch and Yi.
The game is about to enter 1,1,x content, so he is giving out decent advice. If you want a honest answer most of these servants suck. OG Saber, Mord, Medb, Waver, Cu alter and Vlad are the good ones.
You should always pick whoever you like the most. However, if you want good advice you should always research this stuff. My friend started the game during Liz Halloween event, and just told everyday “get Skadi” even tho he had waver.

If you don't have Waver, pick Waver. Following that check, pick one of the broken perma dps (Enkidu, Ozy, Vlad, Tesla).

Personally, picking waver is both the ideal pick for me, but it also brings my greatest shame.
So back in 2022 when i could pick an SSR, I picked waver bc I needed him badly. I thought I got him at bond 5, so I kind of just laid off the game and focused on irl stuff.
Then when I logged in again, I was told I was extremely close to bond 5, but didn't make that final leap to get him there, thus I was missing Waver again.
Now that I don't have to worry about bond levels anymore this time, getting waver now is a good idea...
Even if I can't look at him the same way ever again after screwing up that hard lol.

I picked Artoria saber. I joined originally and she was the first servant I really wanted, and now after many many many years, she is now part of the gang. Now of the originals I only want Jeanne alter, but I dont know if she'll ever even get her own dedicated banner from now on.
I currently have 12/32 of the available 5* options as a GSSR-only player who has been playing on NA for a little over five years now. The ones that I’m interested in but don’t have a single copy of are Altera, Seiba, Lartoria, and Quetz. I think I will finally just get my own Seiba this time since it’s strange not having her after all this time, and she’s just too iconic not to have out of all the others.
This was very informative right before servers open, and after coming back to fgo after some time, i was thinking on getting Enkidu, Jeanne, or Quetzalcoatl, and in the end I'm probably going with Quetzalcoatl (tho if Ishtar was there i would have taken her without hesitation).
Last year, i made my choice of boosting a NP4 unit to 5. That went to Jack-chan because i only got her to 4 purely on spooks, kind of hoping if she'd spook more on future rolls that i could get more rare prisms and USO. But she hasn't shown up since and that was maybe a mistake.
So this year, I decided to go with whomever is still at NP1. Due to the fact that the list is missing 5 permanent servants from the pool, the list comes down to 2 servants: Artoria Lancer or Old man Li. Arts...or Buster?
Going back to those 5 servants, excluded: at this point 2 years ago, (slight time correction due to debut times when compared to NA, before Lasengle) Odysseus had been in the game for 2 years, the Dioscuri were available for a year and a half, Nemo 8 months, Vritra 7 months, and Galatea at barely under 5 months. When you realize that the twins came out on the first pickup banner for 5.5, 2 whole banners before Europa. But Odysseus was available 2 weeks before that with the white day rate up. Anyway, RIP DW, but i can't understand why Lasagna is still stringing NA players along with bad DW decisions.
It's great that we got pity early, but there's no reason to be dragging their knuckles when they have the full support of the player base behind them. DW will have been dead and gone for 2 years upon new years; i don't need to blame Lasengle for mistakes that aren't theirs, but if they also refuse to own up and correct it, it makes it harder to want to go for anything, even when it's free.

Relieving to hear that I don't have to do anything additional for this pickup. Prior to this video, I'd heard about needing to get to Bond level 5 within a certain time slot and was panicking over not knowing which node was best to farm that. Now I can pick up my Mordred and not worry about losing her XD

Good thing I'm already set for Tesla. I'm hesitating whether I'd pick Lartoria and him but thankfully getting Melusine fixed that problem. His animation update made me love him more and the fact that he's AoE archer (which I don't have SSR atm), gave me easy access to loop more sabers and that seals the deal for me.

Most likely to go with Tesla. Story locked, good buster loop compatibility, 2 interludes and 2 rank ups for some extra quartz, also good for nodes that Melusine has trouble with.
Kinda misleading on the Saber and Berserker analyses. The spreadsheet shown displays only self buffs. In a 3T looping environment, Altera is the clear winner at about 609k damage against Lancers at NP1 versus ~546k from Artoria and ~469k from Mordred, unless you have Rising Mud Rain (a general pool gacha CE that never had a rate-up).
As for Berserkers, Vlad is miles ahead of the other options if you have Castoria. There's no need for an anchor like Cú if you can simply use your NP again and again and again and again.
I've been trying to get np5 drake for years so she's my choice, plus she's really good with Koyanchihuahua

I've been playing since release and still don't have my own Waver, I was on a break from the game during last anniversary. So naturally I will picking up Anastasia.
She's just... she's really cute and I love her.
My main choice is Seiba to fill in the vacant spot of SSR AoE Saber in my Chaldea, but who I'll finally pick will depend on the results of my Koyan rolls & GSSR. On the very low chance that Seiba spooks my Koyan rolls, or if I get Ibuki / Muramasa as my GSSR, then my 2nd choice would be either Drake or Sitonai (the former for waifu reasons + Double Koyan candidate, & the latter for the fact that she's Story-Locked + works well with Double Castoria).
I was originally going for Cu Alter but I realized that his niche in my Chaldea has been pretty much filled by multiple Servants:
Cockroach Zerk - Bond CE Herc
SSR ST Zerk - Kintoki, X Alter
Unkillable anchor / soloer - Taira no Kagekiyo
Tesla's been a mainstay of mine since Singularity 4, but I've never been able to NP2 him. I'm just gonna take that chance now; I also have Gilgamesh, but I've always preferred Tesla's kit (and character, frankly) to Gil's. Already have all the other obvious support options, so Tesla NP2 it is.
Ended up picking waver, hope the rosters the same next year cause I wanna get Cu alter to finish off the Cu collections
A bit hard to choose.
Out of Servants I don't have yet, I'm considering Karna, Ozy, Cu or Sitonai.
Also considering np2 for; Altria, Lancertria, Enkidu or Jeanne.
I'm leaning towards Enkidu or Lancertria, as I don't have an np2 Lancer SSR (or a np2 SR grailed), quite possibly Lancertria as she's story-locked and I can't imagine a future banner I'd roll on with her on it.
As a newbie, on one hand, I really need good Rider and Assassin units, but that Artoria bias is gonna make me pick Seiba. Besides my preferred pick for Rider class would be Achilles and he's supposed to get a rate up soon, so it's all good. Seiba's my pick.
Going for Tesla. On top of him making enemies completely explode into mushroom clouds with Oberon, keep in mind that he has I think 4 Interludes/Rank Ups to juice some SQ from. It's the "genius" choice in this time of need.
If I don't pick up Anastasia now, she's just gonna be a financial hazard, as whenever she's on rate up, I always roll for her and get nothing
Since i have total 2 times pity (yes you're right, 1800++ SQ Tix if 1 tix = 3 SQ) on this anniv, imma save this free SSR ticket after Oberon banner if i hit the pity on both of Koyan and Oberon, or after Arjuna Alter/Morgan banner (depending of the GSSR result on this anniv banner, i roll on Arjuna Alter banner) if i got plenty of spare SQ tix after Koyan Oberon roll.
I have so many what if condition for now, but one thing for sure, the free SSR tix will be a waifu.

I'm torn between Cu and Ozy, I like them both, but I have a lot of Rider choices and my true love Hijikata is the true damage dealer for Berserkers. Maybe I'll pick Ozy as he'll have a lot of strengthening quests.
I’ve had so, soo many spooks and rolls over the years, that I have most of these non-Story Locked options at NP5 for _a while_ now. It’s also been giving me trouble in picking which GSSR to roll, whenever those come around.
Still, this video did help point out a few things for me. I completely forgot Enkidu is getting that 50% charge, so I’m pretty hyped about that (although, he’s one of the NP5’s, so not my choice). I was honestly thinking I’d go for a Rider, either pulling my first Quetz, or pulling Europa or Medb, bringing whichever to NP2, but this video has me looking more towards Cu Alter or Sitonai.
Either one would be going to NP3, and each has specific pros. First off, I’ve actually used Sitonai a number of times recently with the current Castoria meta, and she’s rather easy to loop with even though Melt is at NP5. OTOH, I wasn’t really aware Cu was getting such a strong NP buff. While it’s not _complete_ removal, it can even get rid of perfectly invincibility and we *are* moving into the Buster meta. I don’t really use Berserkers that often, though, and Vlad should probably be NP10, minimum, after all the spooks. The fact Cu can’t loop is also a bit of an issue, but not THAT much of an issue.
I think I’m leaning towards Cu the most, but Sitonai is really, really tempting me
Probably Artoria for me. I’d love Lartoria but she’d be my fifth lancer, and fourth AOE. Maeve isn’t really good which sucks because her costume from Grail Live is so pretty, and I don’t really need Sitonai with Melt on my account. I ended up getting Li and Tamamo since last considering this too, so I think Artoria is my best bet.
Unfortunately they left virti off the list of characters and id have definitely picked her for np2. I might pick up quetz for a np2 upgrade but unfortunately the devs seem to hate her because they have ignored her for years. I also might pick up sitonai because I would love a single target arts alter ego.

1. Sanzang (I need a offensive caster, especially ST)
2. Enkidu (Overall solid pick but I have Karna)
3. OG Saber (Day one player but don't have her)

After a lot of consideration and suggestion of other master I'm going for grandpa Li
I'm torn between Bropoleon and Enkidu. As I don't have a 5 star Lancer either Enkidu or Karna should do well but as I have Gil, not having Enkidu with his rival and friend (read: boyfriend) feels bad and Napoleon for me is one of the coolest archers and husbandos in the game.
I would love to go for NP2 Sitonai but I guess I really need to expand my Lancer class as in my Chaldea that's the class that is the hardest for me to summon in the gacha and my only optimal farmer is NP5 Parvati so having options is always nice but Bropoleon is soooo tempting! I can't wait for the ticket and the anniversary to come!
My choice largely depends on whether I can get Koyanskaya and Oberon, but if I do, then I'll probably use it for Tesla. My reasoning:
- Archer is the only class for which not only I have no dedicated farmer, but I also know I'll get none in the near future (for Assassin I can at least wait fro Gray and/or Valkyrie): as it is, with access to the Koyanskaya system he offers the most to my roster
- the fact he's story-locked means it's very hard to find him, so there's the rarity value (which is why I prefer him over Napoleon)
- on JP right now he has 2 Interludes and 2 Rank-ups, so he also gives some bonus SQ in the end
I was considering Tamamo as an alternative, since I have Castoria and more Arts support is good, but I'd rather go with the choice that adds something new to my roster

I'm going to choose Waver, even if I get castoria, having another 50% bar is essential, plus if everything goes well and I get Oberon I could support some Servant caught from my whale friends, like a melu np5 ( I know that the supports for her would preferably be Koyanskaya, but at the moment my sqs are very few so I prefer to take a chance on oberon which will help more in general than on her which would help Burster more, plus my main dps are arts)

Since I accidentally lucksacked a Melusine trying to get Percival, I might pick Tamamo so I can give her a little bit more support
I'm stuck between getting Osakabehime or NP2 Sitonai. It's hard to pick.
On one hand, I don't have Skati so a quick support would be nice to have and Wu sometimes does not feel like enough support for Quick. But her Quick boost is tied to her NP which makes it awkward to reach and I have NP2 Jack as my buff remover.
On the other hand, NP2 Sitonai will mean I would have a good Arts single target nuke but at the same time, I own NP5 Passion lip, NP3 Kingprotra, NP2 Doman and we have the free NP5 Mech Eliy. That's not saying all the other good arts single target monsters in other classes have too.

Actually no clue who I'm gonna pick. Sanzang probably makes the most sense gameplay-wise since she's one of the very few good ST casters in the game, and it's a niche I still don't have filled (technically have caster Shuten, but rarely use her), but there are also some other ST units that would do really well with an NP2 upgrade in my roster like Ozy, Vlad, and Sitonai. Cu Alter is tempting too, since you can never go wrong with a survival zerk as a team anchor, and my heart says to grab Clay for NP3 because they're my favorite servant, and my primary NP5/Lv120 candidate.
Sanzang for me I have 8 servants getting buff in the anniversary so sanzang with 2 rank up means extra 14sq and I don't have any ST Caster. I was planning tamamo but I will choose after rolling for koyanskaya but more likely I will pick sanzang. And good luck to all masters rolling for Koyanskaya. And may you have enough for Oberon 😊
See I’m stuck between waver and tamamo. I have a castoria and I’m saving for vitch. Waver would definitely help making certain servants like summer tomoe able to loop in my case. Rn I’ve been using kichii hogan as a third plug. Which helps but sometimes isn’t enough. But then tamamo would provide sustain and greater usage for my arts team since I’m super arts heavy. It’s really difficult .
I would definitely recommend Waver more based on my experience on JP. In the next 2 years you'll see Xu Fu, Proto Merlin, and Johanna added to the game who really eat up a lot of Tamamo's potential use cases. Waver/Reines on the other hand i still use all the time, although you don't need both.
Obviously if you like Tammy as a character, you can ignore this.
Honestly they both have their place in an arts team(tho Tamamo is definitely better in this regard) Tam can make looping without extra charges after first turn easier + solid dmg. While Waver has 50% charge, and has more use in other teams besides arts.
Something to make note of is that Tam's ascension and max skills require 161 bones, which is HEFTY.
While Waver's ascension and skills mat's seem not as bad.

Personally i will use the ticket on Artoria Lancer even if she is already np2, because she is limited and that 15% more damage on her np will be useful now that finally thanks to Koyanskaya i can use "seriusly" for farming, and last but not least i like her .
For me I’m torn between Waver and Artoria. Waver was my favorite character in zero and his 50% battery would be really helpful even if I already have Castoria. Meanwhile Artoria would give me an servant who lets me hit the big red button to win and give me a viable buster farmer on top of being my first 5 star saber in the game.
