I apologize that I have to keep coming back to you all with an unfinished Episode 11. In the meantime, I had this cute song made so that I could post something and keep the channel alive.
Episode of 11 of Starter Squad has come leaps and bounds since last upload. A few shots from the episode are mixed in with the others in this video. However, the included shots have not gone through a camera pass or a rendering/lighting pass. They are still rough versions because the episode has not yet reached what I like to say is the "post-production" stage.
I tend to give more detailed updates at Patreon.com/Shippiddge, but at the time of this post, I'm trying to finish off character animation and move towards post-production. I have ONE SCENE (a big one) left in the character animation process. The current Patreon funding has covered (among other things) the cost of other animators animating other scenes, and is still ongoing. However, I have become very attached to animating certain characters a certain way. I find myself unable to delegate certain work that I consider personal, and opt to do the animation of those characters myself, and there is (unfortunately for me) a lot that I've gotten particular over. I am extremely grateful to current Patrons who allow me to get this particular with the episodes and the look I'm trying to achieve. Thus far, the finished sequences look almost identical to how they did in my head.
When the episode is finished, I will be posting several trailers and teasers leading up to its release, and not a moment sooner. When it's about to come out, I'll make sure you all know. Until then, any updates will appear on Patreon.com/shippiddge.

Q: When is the next episode coming out?
A: I genuinely don't know. Last year, I believe I said "early 2024", and I have now passed that supposed deadline. Most of the episode is now "finished" or at least watchable, but it continues to be a long process. I often underestimate workloads and face delays but still opt to put a lot on by myself because the project is so personal to me. I'm desperately trying to get it out this year. I'm so so sorry. I want it out soon too, but am very anal about what it should look like.
Q: How long is Episode 11?
A: 30 minutes, almost exactly.
Q: When did you decide to make this a series?
A: Around Ep3. Ep.1 was a skit, Ep.2 was the sequel. Ep.4-6 was largely me winging it. Ep.7+ follows the path to Ep.12 I've decided on.
Q: Will Charmander ever return?
A: No spoilers!

A: No spoilers!!
Q: What about Mewtwo/MissingNo/other character?
A: NO SPOILERS!!!
Q: What will you do after Ep.12?
A: After episode 12 releases, I plan to focus on an original animated series with original characters. I hope you stick around to watch it.

A: At this time, I don’t have any more Pokémon content planned aside from Episodes 11 and 12 as well as “One Episode Left”. I’m open to doing spinoffs and shorts in the future, but as it stands, the Starter Squad story ends at Ep.12.

I just wanna say that I and many others deeply admire your dedication to this series. It is clearly taking so much more time and effort than you bargained for, and most creators would've understandably gotten tired of this project by now, and maybe even abandoned it. But you? Come hell or high water, you're finishing this thing. You're telling your story if it's the last thing you do. And dang it, that's genuinely inspiring! It's like watching someone run a marathon.
