The elect will not be deceived. That is not what the scripture says. The scripture says even the elect would be deceived if it were possible. Which means it will be impossible for the elect to be deceived, because we carry the Holy Spirit. However, the false signs will be so convincing, that if the elect did not have the Holy Spirit, then it would be possible to be deceived.
