This was a really unique concept, I appreciate this new side of Boco where we get to see him crash and embarrass himself. Ironically, his brake tender looks more like RWS Boco than Boco does himself
This was BRILLIANTLY written. Every little detail to keep the story going, you covered all the logic so it's perfectly believable. This feels like it's aimed for both children and adults, it's nostalgia for the earlier seasons of the show. Bravo!
Nicely done NWR1991, also here in the USA, we have locomotives that look similar to the Brake Tender, but we call them Yard Slugs. And they also come in different length and sizes.
Yard slugs, while similar, come fitted with traction motors. These brake tenders come unfitted with any traction motors and are purely additional weight.
The brake tender is a very interesting piece of rolling stock. I've never heard of it until now. I have a request after watching your Season 4 styled Super Rescue remake. Try making a Season 5 styled remake of Old Stuck Up, using Derek for the role of Bear, and once again, D261 for the role of Old Stuck Up.
What a fantastic story. Boco being given a brake tender and wondering if it's important for him to use. Silly Thomas and his teasing, when will he learn?
that story takes place in 1965 (twenty years after WWII) despite BoCo arrived on Sodor in 1986. these days Thomas would probably not be teasing an engine about their 'brake tenders'. back then he was just "young".
I suppose it’s better late than never, but a splendid job NWR1991; a fine episode. I also want to say that these train models look fantastic; when I think back to where original Thomas character modeling started from, its incredible to see how far it has come. Keep up the great work; looking forward to what comes next

one of the best intro sequences thus far, starts off calm, church bells ringing, then you hear a whistle in the distance, and then, LOUD TRUMPETS!

I like the fact that Gordon roasted Thomas for being too cheeky to Boco
Well, BoCo did “save his life”.
@@user-yb8cp5hp1i Gordon returned the favour for Boco
True. While Gordon himself isn't much better (given how many times he's bullied other engines), he's totally right to bring up the snow plow here.

If I recall correctly, the Brake Tenders could be coupled behind the locomotive as well, the Southern Region usually had theirs run that way.
SR and GWR had theirs behind the loco while LNER and LMS had them in front
Diesel Brake tenders were only for diesels in the BR Era.. NOT the big four era...
