@@CptZhu had my first ever run in with them in almost 300 hours of playing. They pretty much wiped my whole team of fodder except my loan wolf, who completely shredded them because I swapped his longsword for a war brand. Weaker, but it only costs 4AP to attack so it has potential to do almost double the damage of the LS.
Bows require an insane amount of ranged attack to even be half useful, u can just have your impaler xbow move up and have a brother behind him with rotate
Huh imagine if there were more diverse quests in battle brothers like defending a tactical position against endless noble enemies until like 10 rounds or so backup would arrive and you could also control the noble reinforcements
Something similar happens on the Holy War crisis, when you are asked to defend a Sacred Site against hordes of noble troops 3 or 4 times until southern backup arrives out of nowhere at the final horde.

Ranged weapons are so inaccurate, especially when you're surrounded in melee, there is just no need. Armor amd HP will more than handle what few hit. MA is the best ranged defense because they can't shoot you if there is no more front line and you're closing in in melee.
1:59 you can see when that perk "I work alone" has now activated. That also means he can do this by himself. That's why being lone wolf is so freaking awesome

Even Godlike Lonewolf can't handle 6 wounds and remain alive. Even with Nine lives it's mathematically impossible to live after receiving 150% HP required for that 6 wounds to appear. Though I appreciate nice video and all wounds being 25% threshold wounds instead of 50% ones :P.
