I always use an egg carton when disassembling, then you have a little pod for each stage and a tray for larger components

Good explanation. I am aware that these carbs are mean’t to sync’d off the bike but up until now I have used vac gauges with pretty good results. Looking at your vid though I will do a comparison and see which is better. I have some Flat slides on a Laverda Jota. I also wasn’t aware of the JIS screws so will get some. Thanks for doing the vid. Cheers John in Australia.

      Hi John,
      I'm in Australia too.
Replace all JIS screws with SS Allen key, your life will be 10000% easier, and they look better
And also only cost $10 for all the pieces.
      Cheers Ryan

This is a great video , I have RS34’s on my cb750 DOHC, the Mikuni owner manual thst came with my carbs says when syncing the carbs to use a manometer or similar device to sync the carbs, other than that this video is very good, I already knew about the JIS screwdrivers from a different video, and I really appreciate these guys mentioning the JIS screwdrivers that’s important

Awesome video! Taught me what I needed to know about adjusting my carbs
As an aside, are these stock slides prone to chattering & breaking off into the engine like the TM38's? Are there aftermarket black slides you can install that won't shatter?

Did you ever get these tuned up and working properly? I'm currently trying to tune a set for my bike and was wondering if you have any further insight.

I ride a 2003 Kawasaki ZRX1200R. I’ve put 50,000 miles so far. Runs good but it’s getting a leaky valve cover gasket.

Really good information for me. I just bought a bandit 1200. A set of 5020 carbs came with it the previous owner never installed. They almost seem like overkill...but I have no idea. Would you swap these with the original ones that are one the bike now? From what I can tell all it has are K&N and a Yoshi RS3 muffler

Hello friend, could you make a video on how to widen the gap and shorten between each carburetor?
