he’s so mature like when he said “not everyone succeeds” it hit me really hard like all high school i had many different ambitions about my future career, i wanted to work in IT, then pharmaceutist, then orthodontist, then music producer, then illustrator and astrophysicist, and everytime i realised i don’t have chances to succeed (because of my family being middle class, or profession being irrelevant, or too many people studying the same thing already or whatever reason) i changed it. only 2 years left till i go to university, i’m really anxious and afraid about my future. i think i will not sleep tonight because his words are starting to change the way i think. maybe then i will achieve understanding so i will definitely succeed. or maybe i will lose my reason for existence.

Too many idol groups debut each year. Not to mention those who don't even have the chance to debut. Kpop is indeed competitive. When the environment is chaotic and unpredictable, we must not lose ourselves in it. The only thing we can have 100% control is ourselves. Rather than being pessimistic that our goals might not come true, we should focus on ourselves, search our goals, inspect ourselves, improve ourselves, and enjoy the process. "人不知而不慍，不亦君子乎？" Don't be mad nor frustrated that people don't know you, don't know how good you are. Can't ask anything from people, we can only ask ourselves. This is for everyone to learn. I hope Hyunsuk never loses hope.

Hyunsuk is my fav in CIX even though I started to be FIX because of Bae, who still has a special place in my heart. To me, Hyunsuk is sharp-witted and reliable (and tall and handsome and he brought his siblings into FIX's world). He hadn't have the experience like Bae, Hun and Got before debut, bet he still caught up with the members really fast. He's among the dance line in my opinion. And he handles some of the most difficult, some would think strange, rap verses in CIX's songs, like those in What You Wanted, Move My Body, Young. Those are definitely not easy to rap to. He sure is an all-rounder. He stands out among other idols when he attended variety show alone. I could tell that the hosts also like him the most. That's what he did, he made FIX proud.

I relate so much with the mom who are left in awe after the interview, i met hyunsuk once too during a fansign and i almost fainted.
