With Hardcore bands and bands with similar crowds, you can't really. Cause kids will take the mic out of your hand and take it. But with the cord it acts like a "leash". If you understand what I am telling you.
on top of what frag said, 99% of people consider TGI to be more of a hardcore/punk band than metalcore, so im completely confused by your statement. So apparently the kind of music you play determines how you act on stage? What makes music great is that everyone hears it differently and it effects them differently. If Whitechapel or Chelsea Grin wants to have stage dives and shoutouts and hardcore dancing because thats how they enjoy their music, then thats what should happen. youre stereotyping
