It works for you like that because you're not using a legit copy. No anti cheat. Anyone with a legit copy wont be able to launch their game afterwards because the anti cheat will false positive the files you put into your bin folder. You need to use cheat engine or another method of disabling anti cheat in order for this fix to work. Needless to say, disabling anti cheat turns off online functionality. Pretty important bit of info left out of your video. Also, I'm not getting into the morality or even the legality for that matter of pirated games..just sayin.

How long has this been happening with anyone using a 4070 ti? I just built a system to run Starfield on when it releases, but wanted a game to play until its release. I thought the graphics card was flawed at first although it runs Elden Ring and GTA 5 fine.
Tried using this with my system as it was crashing a few minutes after boot. The game launched and didn't crash after 30 minutes but had a crap ton of flickering issues. Seems to be no fix for my issue as I have been searching for 3 days straight.

So this worked for me I copied nly the last two files 0:57 in the bin folder coz copying all 4 for some reason reduced the resolution of all texts in game It doesn’t give you a permanent fix coz when the game moves from a cutscene to a playable time it stutters again but simply changing the pixel density and applying it will return you back to smooth gameplay (its like refreshing the game idk whats happening) F4 is for doing emotes i guess?? If so it is working for me

@@TheDoctorgta The game still just won't launch. These dll files, as I understand it, installed by scripthook, but everything is the same. Windows loading screen and .. nothing. In the launcher, the "play" button simply becomes available again. Nothing happens.
What files did you add exactly? My game won't start with just the 2 DXVK files. Did you add something else - like: -dinput8.dll (from Scripthook V? Or from somewhere else? -in the video are these files shown - I don't have them: dinput8.original.dll and doges.dll and CPY.ini Thanks in advance! :)

if it's a steam version, click properties -> set launch options and write -eac_launcher Uplay is about the same if it's a pirate, then click on the shortcut -> properties and in the "object" line add -eac_launcher so it looks something like this: "D:\Watch_Dogs 2\bin\WatchDogs2.exe" -eac_launcher
Oh yes it did for me! So uh i had the flickering on my Macbook Pro and i had so much flickering! Like its unplayable. After the tutorial, it just worked but i had 50 fps with flickering but 20-30 without flickering. But Still a big help!! Thank you

Since the release of 4090, Nvidia blames this on Ubisoft but I don't see how it's Ubisoft's problem when this game stopped updating in like 2018.
I was using a RX 580 and the game looked just fine. Now it looks like a christmas tree with my 4070. Annoying.
