I think this is so brilliant, and Peter, you're an awesome teacher! I just love listening to these, and wish for more. (Christopher Watts especially). I have a lot of respect for you and thank you for sharing your expertise!
An RD (or lack thereof) never ceases to amaze me. Thank you for this lesson, Peter. Your enthusiasm for your work is palatable.
This is amazing, I was really looking forward to these videos. A dream come true! :D
Peter, Great learning, thank you. I love learning how to detect fakes and agendas in everyday life. Please load more lessons!!!

I have often wondered about the mindset of "successful" people in various endeavors. In this instance, we see the weakness of someone's statement from a successful, professional athlete so how can we reconcile this seemingly incongruity? One possible answer is that the deep drive and desire in many of these people stem from the very fact of a perceived deficiency, inadequacy or weakness on one's life. The drive for success in one particular area may be to mask or overcome a deep inadequacy in another area, that it to say, a way to compensate. I don't necessarily see this as a bad thing per se, since using one's weakness as a means of strength is not necessarily a bad thing, but I wonder on the effect of not really dealing with the underlying cause in the first place.
What AMAZES me is the Incredible number of subjects you have an Intimate , not only knowledge of , but ALSO how ot pertains to the
Simply put, these videos help many of us. Keep the videos coming.
Great video, thanks.
Dear Peter, I’m joining with the others in the comments and pleading with you to post more of these videos. Awesome!
Could there be an issue with celebrities and politicians statements as they use PR companies and speech writers ?
I’ve noticed also that the language used by those who feel victimised can include “I have always” as well as “I have never”. In both cases it’s a means to do a non-specific blanket covering, rather than to meet something head-on.
Awesome! Thank you for showing us your work:)
This analysis has missed one, if not the most important fact. The fact that Mr. Sanchez was told what to say by his advisers, lawyers or whoever. What if he simply wanted to say "I did not take PED" but the Team, the Advertising-partners and Lawyers decided that a press conference had to be longer than just one sentence? How does this affect the validity of his statements? Are these still his at all?
Good point, I was wondering the same thing.
Yep, it is like having done PED's believing everyone else did them or due to pressure directly (such as coach/trainer) or less directly (fear of losing status or disappointing a relationship partner).
fascinating...sir
When serving Police Officer told me that the purpose of handcuffs was to cause pain I thought it was a strange (and inaccurate) thing to say; a few years later he murdered his wife.
“It’s deeply frustrating that I’m having to make an announcement on this subject,” he wrote. “I am a clean athlete who has never broken the rules in regards to substances, methods or dosages and it is upsetting that some parts of the media, despite the clear facts, continue to try to associate me with allegations of drug misuse.”
Hmmm.......Now I am reading this in a different light.
I love your content! Please post more videos 🙌🏽
Taking on celebrity and famous cases is important in my view.
People should not get away or benefit from dishonesty especially in the public eye. This sets an example which people will follow.
Brilliant, I can listen and learn so much, even though I’m an old man from him.
Another awesome video by Peter! I love this guy and I love statement analysis!
I'm a corp counsel overseeing compliance, and what I've learned from managing many investigations is that subjects who are not guilty always demonstrate 2 specific behaviors when called to interrogation/ interview: (1) they immediately ask why they're being questioned and want to know "what's this about," and (2) upon learning the answer to #1, they state a direct, explicit denial of the violation and they maintain this denial for the duration of the investigation. Also, those who are not guilty tend to exhibit frustration about the situation. They don't rant or deny allegations that nobody's made. However, they do sometimes attempt persuasion to clear their name, e.g., by saying, "I've never had a compliance violation" or "I have a clean record." I seem to recall you saying such statements were a red flag, but they aren't correlated with guilt in my experience and in fact I hear them most often from subjects who are not guilty.
what if a suspect has obviously studied statement analysis and is saying everything perfectly...too perfectly???
missy beaver`s husband, in law`s statement analysis..please , and noah davis`s missing ..with jonah, his step brother as suspect
You should do a statement analysis for Brendan Dassey and Steven Avery!
Question for Peter Hyatt; are you able to apply this to people who gave Hugh Functioning Autism/Aperger's?
How do you know this was not a statement prepared by his lawyer or PR agent?
What if liars watch this video? They then know how to lie effectively..
I was blind-sided by the noose
If Mr. Sanchez sees himself as a victim, can we say that he has a negative Linguistic Disposition of himself? or is a L.D. used only for people other than the author?
Sorry , When you tslked about the Police Dogs raising their hackles & your uderstanfing of Canine Body. responses something people misread so often to their &more importantly the Dogs detriment ..As someone involved with both Canines & Equines professionally know how their interaction with us is stubbornly misinterpreted cos have spent innumerable hours sesrching out how best to teach others ( within their own mental capabilities ) how to be safe & gain the. trust & respect of , what are for me , incredible companions .Tank You for opening my often shut eyes to these snippets of insight ......a-j h
I took a polygraph once, no problem. But I would not again. It’s not scientific, you are dependent on the examiner and his qualifications and integrity. Then people may lie to you about the results.
Wasn't that statement first penned by his high priced lawyer?
Maybe he didn’t write the statement, his agent or other rep?
any way you could do a 4 hour blowout video and have it sized to fit an IMAX screen in a theatre? i could watch all day.it's so obvious that it's hard to see!
Question for Peter Hyatt; are you able to apply this to people who gave Hugh Functioning Autism/Aperger's?
