Daggerwin I think on Thornton Farm, field 39 is the map's reset point. On the three base game maps, you can refill a water bowser from a river. Also, if you try walking in the water you will float. On Sandy Bay and Thornton Farm, you can not refill a water bowser from a river. Also, if you try walking in the water, you will walk along the bottom.
Daggerwin, you want to bale your straw reasonably soon. Remember it does rod away with soil mod! Also, the vintage pack was a FREE DLC in FS13 as well :-)
+Daggerwin hey Dag here's a good tip when you load your round bales on your bale trailor the easy way to do it for they won't fall while driving is to put them standing up on the flat bottom and they won't fall off so just a little tip from J.L Jones :)

I like that Dominator mod, but It's a little small for the fields, seems to take too long. I'm doing Melbury Estate on my let's play atm, I've found the Lexion 580 is about perfect!

With the bale extension your straw will be getting wet because I think some buildings don't have a solid roof that keeps rain out as rain drops are going through and when u drove in the crop when harvesting it made straw it's from the mud mod because I get it too and I was wondering if there is away to turn it off but anyway great vid as usual dagger
Yes I found at least one river in a good map you can fill your water for free from! It was in the Greenriver map by the dutch map builders from holland who done a lovely map called of course greenriver based on a holland farm map! I found that the main river that goes pass the farm has a water pumping unit there ( sadly not the historic dutch windmill ) but a modern pump unit you just drive along side it with the modded blue zummhumer water trailer and press R and a lovely lot of free water for your animals :) Any one wishing to try that greenriver map I sure it is on the FS-Uk site under maps? The map maker has updated the map since it was released, so make sure you download the newest version which should be the 3.2 version now? You love it :)

Daggerwin with our straw if it rains we have a 2 rotor lely tosser with gates on the back which tosses it out and puts it back in the rows,i have seen some people do it with a two rotor rake like the khun to kind of dry the straw👍

daggerwin go for the shop mod and others linked to it you should look up dertebbers's mod spotlight and look at the videos adding value to crops, fruit and berry mod and the even more fruit.
You tend to use the same mods over and over, we've seen this fruit tree mod many time now and instead of wasting money on all them you should have bought a field which would be much more profitable, also that field is the reset point so you may have some machines on top of trees soon lol
I am wondering if I should wait until FS17 is out on Steam to get it as it is easy to get the DLC and all that stuff, as I am not sure if the one you get off GIANTS website will be linkable with Steam as it will be a download.Does anyone know, so I can put my mind at rest?

i know there is a mod on american eagles modding that makes the day brighter and the night darker. it makes the game look so much more realistic but it kills your FPS
I too have the game and am playing on Thornton but the first 15 seconds of the video is in complete darkness. I've watched it on my computer and phone and it still looks twice as dark as mine.
I absolutely love it when you use the telehandler with your joystick the boom moves so realistically.

it all depends on the map your on if you can fill from the river. great video daggerwin 😀😀
