I printed out of the box and scratched up my base plate. Second time my base layer kept slipping off, after I figured out the up and down stopper matters. Thank you so much for dumming this down, now my prints are coming out perfect. I subscribed so I can learn. Thank you!
I'm a bit late to the party but your videos helped me out a lot. I just got my a6 and it's my first 3d printer. I know nothing about them and it took me 6 hours but I got it done thanks so much.

There is a Test Folder of GCode files on the SDCard that came with the Anet A6 Kit but it does not include the test.gcode file that you use to set up in the bed levelling.
There is a file called Box-1.75mm PLA-A6.gcode which does not print to the extents of the bed like you show in the video.
Where do I get this file ?

I was thinking this video was a support video for people having problems with the hot bed and I did enter by curiosity when looking for the next steps (after step 7) to start using my printer. a6 vs a8, which is better and why?
Hmm. I was a bit overzealous during the unpacking step and removed the tape/paper from the hot bed. I see that you are doing your test print on the paper. Do I need to re-cover my hot bed with something or can I print directly on it?
You' d better cover adhesive tape which can withstand high temperature to make the print parts stick on the hot bed.
Hello David, where can we download the manual of the A6 ? I have three issues, first my screen has two lines burn pixels, second when the printer goes down to begin printing, one of the two y motors stucks in a specific position and final when my printer starts to print it doesn't print a good quantity of plastic..
Dear David, can i use "Auto Leveling Position Sensor for Anet A8" with A6? Or do you plan to produce special censor for A6?

Hi JMW , press the screw on the extruder , then fit filament into the hole . there is another hole inside so try to make the filament straightly into the hole . or you can strike the fan and see the another hole inside , put it in and reinstall the fan
Thanks David Dan, I've successfully managed a few times(and printed a cap to go over the screw so my thumb stops hurting) but I am constantly having issues. It goes in the first hole, manage to get it into the second one and then it just stops. I can't get it all the way through. Everything is heated up. I can't work it out. Also, how do I know how much to tighten the screw on top?

I have the printer assembled, and it seems to do everything that it should in dry run mode. The problem is that it will not allow me to shut the dry run mode off, how do I set it to print?
Dry run means problem on thermistor. So please check it or replacement it.
I am having issues with the hot end and heated bed temperatures going back to zero after i do the pre-heat. i select the file to print, nothing comes out and everything cools right off to zero. where can i go for help with this.
pls reconnect the thermistors and check the situation

My Unit is the Omni 3D A8-B and it has the 5 buttons without the "OPTION" menu and no place in any menu to "disable stepppers"

Yeah, this is the A6, the newer version of the A8. Different frame, controller, and screen.

I have problem. When I conected to elecric supply frst time, nothin happend. Displey did not switch on. What can I do??
Thats what happened to me today. Turns out the cables on the LCD display were swapped over. Try swapping them and see if that helps (that's if you have a red LED on the main board flashing twice, pausing etc)

I bought an A6 from Banggood. It came with auto leveling sensor, but no instructions on how to install it.
It also came with a European plug and a dangerous dinky adapter for North American plug. No Earth grounding is possible as the ground pin is missing. Why do companies try their best to kill their customers?
It did not include any PLA as pictured. It only had 2 PDF files on the SD card. None of the other programs that are in the assembly manuals were included.
Can you make a video on how to install the sensor? Does the firmware support this sensor, or do I have to upgrade the firmware to something else like Marlin to be able to do the automatic bed leveling?
I will not buy from Banggood again. They used to be a good seller. Not anymore.

I just built my printer. after one successful home all command my z axis doesn't work anymore. just does not work, neither manually through menu nor would drive itself home anymore. any suggestions?
please Contract your original supplier to look for help
So you're saying something is faulty yes?
I am not sure, but if you can't make it work by yourself, you should contract your original supplier with details pictures or videos for them to confirm which reason caused this situation. You didn't assemble it right or someting else is wrong or bad ? they need to confirm the reason to help you out.

I think you need make it clear what your problem is. z axis does't move a bit at all or just be stuck? Check whether you connect wires right on mainboard, take picture or video to your supplier to find which reason.
This is a different screen than the one you built :( I don't have those options.

Hi great advice but as an engineer, rather than use a piece of A4 paper why not be more accurate and simply use a set of feeler gauges set at 0.01mm. to set the bed, sorry if its nit picking.
1) Place all those steps and website link in the description.
2) At the end of the video make an annotation with a link to your website.
3) Your website is in chinese (don't tell me about Google Translate).
