Difficulty hearing the questions. Please don’t go back to the old days. If journos don’t know the difference being on mike and off mike, then they need to be told.

“Gotta work my way back up” is a great attitude to start off with.
Let’s hope that hunger doesn’t wain if it takes him awhile, like most bigs, to reach his potential.

Adelaide is the first team in history of AFL to finish last win the number one draft pick and end up with number two pick. Can they do anything right lmao.

Explain what exactly they did wrong again?

It was a tactic to stop the Bulldogs grabbing Jimmy Rowe. They had to use all of their picks to match the #1 so we got him instead. It also takes the pressure off of Riley to perform as #1. Some people are never happy!

@@a51alias bullshit Rowe went at 38 anyone who gives up prestige of having a no.1 in order to protect pick 38 are delusional.

@@williamporter2867 So what if Rowe went at 38, you should remember the Adelaide captain Rory Sloane went at pick 44 in the 2008 and Walker was taken at pick 75 in 2007. Tom Barrass from West Coast was taken at pick 43 in 2013 or Willie Rioli who was taken at pick 52. those 4 are/were really good players all taken late in the Draft, so number 1 doesn't always mean everything, as there are usually hidden gems other teams overlook, besides the Bulldogs also had their eyes fixed on Jimmy Rowe.
Crows didn't get pick 1 as they forced the Bulldogs to pay the price to match the bid on Ugle-Hagen, doesn't really matter, the Crows recruiters got the man they wanted anyway with pick 2, Riley Thilthorpe was always the intended player to be drafted with that early pick, but there was a need to force the Bulldogs off the table, as the Crows had the intention of taking Jimmy Rowe, it was all about removing the potential competition for that one player.
