This is how anyone that understands footbrake should be able to learn handbrake.. most of wheelies is throttle control in my opinion.. if you already understand footbrake, engine brake and throttle control. Hand brake is pretty quick to learn!
love seeing you all make these videos, one of the main reasons im at where i am today is because of yall teaching me in a one on one lesson the day after your first ever stunt show at DTM! yall are great teachers hope to come up andd ride with yall soon!
this was pleasant to watch... one thing that i think could do well in this kind of videos: Ben, what's his current skill level? what has he been able to until now? how long or how many times has he been doing that? how long has he been riding before he started skill1, skill2, etc... just as a reminder to everyone that this is not simply a video where someone learns something fast, but that shows he probably has a lot of experience already, it's just that this one skill now is something he's never done before he's able to learn faster than "average" because of the accumulated experience he already has... something along that line...
Thanks! And yes in the beginning of the video Alex said what his skills were! He can wheelie using footbrake doing knee knocker, sit downs, one handers! So we stated his skills and then told everyone the goal for the video! Which was learning handbrake. This was hours first day using the hand brake and he learned it very very fast! We teach people in a specific way where it simplifies the process!
Yes something I didn’t realize till after filming the entire video 😩 super annoying when things don’t go as planned but will have it fixed! Glad I didn’t loose footage tho it could be worse
@TheComboKids You can change the audio clip attributes in the editing software to stereo even if it was recorded in mono. That way you'll hear it out of both ears
Wouldn't the best way to do it, even though he's obviously very capable in terms of dropping back, would be to pop it up, tap the brake, bring it down.. rinse and repeat until it's second nature? Same as when you're learning footbrake. Then you'd be less inclined to hit the footbrake since you don't need to 'save' yourself if you mess up the handbraking.
We use that idea in practice of learning how to do basic footbrake wheelies! It’s our main thing. Clutch up hit the brake come down. In this case Ben already knows basic footbrake wheelies and footbrake knee knocks. So if you cover the footbrake and the handbrake and then accidentally forget to hit the handbrake you still have your footbrake covered. There is many different ways to do it. This is the way we find successful for us and others we have taught!
Love your videos, but as someone who watches them with headphones I kinda dislike having the voices only on one channel. Your music is stereo, but Alex voice is on the right channel and his on the left. Maybe it is just me, but still wanted to mention it. Keep up the good work, revisit your videos as I am currently learning as well!
Yes there was another comment addressing this first and I realized that before posting as well! It’ll be fixed. I also am not a fan but it’s how our audio turned out for this and one other video! Never again 😂 thanks for watching as always tho we Appriciate it!

Get used to using the clutch/handbrake to slow down/stop on two. I did that for days before attempting to wheelie with hb.
@@michaelruegg209 i’ve been doing that lately just to get a feel for it
@@TheComboKidsupdate: scraped on my first day practicing handbrake and also scraped a seat stander 🙌🏽🙌🏽

Alright Ben!🎉
Right?!🔥🔥
The rode mic audio is kinda messed up, like each mic is set to mono cause troosh audio comes only out of the right ear and bens out of the left

Can you teach me circle wheelies, I mean a personel lesson?
Where are you located! We do have a video helping people learn circles! It’s def one of the harder things to learn!

He is not going to make it.
Why not!!
I'm guessing that she is under five feet tall and he is about 5657
