As an animator, the only thing I don't like writing-wise is that since "Aladdin" we no longer get genuinely natural cartoon gags; we get "Saturday Night Live" style gags which are just terrible (just like the whole "celebrity voicing" trend). Writing has not been very Disney at all, & even the delightful "Enchanted" couldn't resist pulling that. 😢 So I keep hoping that they'll eventually stop all that and we'll get an animated feature that genuinely feels like a Disney animated feature again. :/ (Or, as Roy Disney's "Disney protest" page he once had up in 2006 put it, "In the early 90s, Disney stopped making Disney movies".) 😢 )
